Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday Lauren!
I love the pictures, I love reading your stories and I miss you both!
Serena joins me to wish you a wonderful day!!
What I think Is that there are very few pictures that actually capture a who a person really is and that picture of me sitting on the ground looking through that particular plant book really does it.
Thanks for the photo and thanks for being awesome.

Buttface's sister Hey! Love the pictures. Campfire sweet potatoes mmmmm. I wish I had seen the huge fir trees and liked the tree on a tree picture best. I hear VT has been gloomy lately too, but Alaska has been nothing short of spectacular. We can't swim though. I'm glad you have some warm..er waters to plunge into. I especially like the description of local womenfolk. They would fit in with my lame, Alaskan, dirty, brandy drinkin', drunk by 9am landlord without teeth. I can't stand the SOB. Anyway, lots of America F-yeah moments, good and bad. Hope the sun shines soon.
Love Casey
Harry and Parseltongue Hey I just emailed you and forgot to ask if you will be in civilization to buy the New Harry Potter this Friday? I can't wait to get my hands on it and read it all night. Lauren I am sure hoping that Snape will turn out to be a good guy. :o)
Mills Lake Hey...Ive been there. I climbed a couple of routes up on Chief's Head and McHenry's, part of which you can see in the far background of your pics.
Funky in San Fran Hi guys! Good to see your blogg. We haven't been in touch with you for a while. I never realized this whole time I had to click on view full entry. Your photos are so awsome! I had to go through and read a bunch of old entries. By the end of this trip you will have your own novel! Looks amazing! Alaska is still good. It has been sunny for like 5 days in a row! Saw a Grizzly two days ago, in the wild, no cage, with cubs-Yeak, I almost shit my pants. You guys look a little warmer in San Fran. I hope you are still having a blast and Shane, you better be using those weights you've been carting around :) Later!
Lots of love and luck-Casey

Lauren and Shane--
Had dinner last night with Pat in boston. He alerted me to your adventure. What a wonderful thing you're doing! Where else are you headed? What is the final destination? Be in touch when you reach it!

cool trip! Hi guys. Found your blog just browsing around the site. Your photos are great. My boyfriend and I are heading out on a 4 month roadtrip within the next few days. We've done it once out west a few years back and are really excited to get back on the road. The Utah parks are amazing and don't forget Arches. Can't wait to be out on the road like you guys. Have fun and be safe!
