This all looks amazing - you've seen a completely different side to all the places we went! My sister's just come back from there too! She is well brown. I bet Tash looks like a current. A tanned currant.
Boring geeky question - what camera were you using? The shots of Zipolite and Puerto are incredible!
Lossa love, Lou xx
No Sombre in a Sombrero Well, you've all made it in 3 whole peices thank goodness. Great pictures and great tales to tell. You seem to have tried almost everything on your journey. We remember the phospherescence in the Persian Gulf - fascinating spectacle swimming in it at night. Looking forward to welcoming you back to boring old Kew on 18th Roya. Make sure there's nothing in your bags that customs might object to (that someone else may have put in there accidentally you understand)! Love Farj xxx
Cheesy Puffs What a great time!! Looking forward to your return as well. One question - what was in the plastic bags on the table next to the two orange cheesy puffs??
Really really looking forward to seeing you and hearing more of your travelling tales. Hope you are going to be wearing sombreros and moustaches as you walk through Gatwick!
Brilliant! I'm very jealous, it all sounds lovely - especially the Oaxaca chocolate and the luminous sea! I don't know why your brains don't explode from all the amazing things you're seeing and doing! xxx Rod
Great story Tash Hi Tash
Just read this, sounds amazing, love the sound of that beach and the sea, especialy falling asleep in the hammock
Have just decided to have a party on 4 October, will sort you and hannah train tickets if you want

Mayan Mayhem Lovely to read your blog and to see that you are learning about the Mayans. They are my third favourite ancient civilisation after the Vedic one of ancient India and the Toltec one of Mexico ( ask about them while in Mexico)! Lots of vibrant colour Roya as usual. Hope the last leg of your adventure is as good as it has been so far. Truly awe inspiring reports coming back from you gals! Really looking forward to hearing your tales in person and seeing all your photos. Keep healthy, wealthy and wise. Love you. Farj
I laughed till I cried reading this - what is it with you and dogs.
Also loved the pom pom look - its very fetching and as Roya's grandma would say those skirts make you look very tall around your middle.
Sounds like you really are making the most of your time with very few regulations! I like the sounds of the caving with a candle, and am insanely jealous of your bridge jumping! Unfortunately, it's 1) illegal in Britain, except for one day of the year when the Severn bridge opens to bridge jumping, but you have to do it with a rope, and 2) not too warm in the water. And the dead bodies in the rivers aren't too appealing. I'm looking forward to you coming home! We've been trying to figure out how we're going to take both your and Hannah's stuff to Notts and Manc in one trip...
Have fun, keep up the daring!

"I hit the river bed" Assume Harriet wrote this - can i just ask... there is no mention of Tasha 'hitting the riverbed' or indeed after this point. She did actually make it back for the game of cards after your death defying stunts???
I would hate to be called a lobster. I hope you are alright Roya, it sounds like a traumatising experience. I like the name Harriet for a man, I'm going to look for a husband called Harriet. x x x
Photos WE NEED MORE PHOTOS - dont keep us in suspense any more. Get out that wire, plug it in and UPLOAD. Otherwise embarassing childhood stories that I forgot to mention at the 21st party will receive oxygen on the blog. DO IT NOW!!!
Glad you are all having so much fun. We're all in great admiration. Love Dad x
incredible blog hi, im gonna backpack through central america and was wondering what hostel you stayed at in guatemala?cheers from belgium
have a wicked time out there
Yum I can't believe you lot are doing so much walking. I quite fancy the lurid coloured macaroni cheese. Glad that hammock is getting an airing! Look forward to the next episode.
Love Muj
I hope... You got a sample of that igneous rock for me Tash! I'm jealous now, you're doing loads of dull stuff, and then GEOLOGY comes up! Crikey, now you're having fun! I'm not actually joking I saw magma and hoped there would be some detail about the volcano and composition etc, but no... Get my hopes up, then smash them viciously on an extrusive igneous intrusion.
(That's right, I got an A in Geology :P)
Intrepid Times Looks like you're having a peachy beachy time making us all wish we were in our twenties again. Remember, you put de lime in de coconut and drink it all together, put de lime in de coconut and drink it all down, I said sister don't you get de belly ache!! Probably not Spanish enough for where you are! Keep on having fun and take care of each other. Hasta la vista!
Boat Deja Vu Your boat trip reminds us of the time we went to that island in Dalat in a thunderstorm with water lashing over the side - only when we arrived at the other side we had MUCH less fun than you three as we were forced to eat porcupines. So glad you are all having such great experiences and turning tricky ones into positive one. Leaving France tomorrow for the drive home. Love you xxxxxx
yo hi guys sounds awesome! I've been writing to Roya's email so if u get time have a look at them. Also shall I post my alevel results here or write to ur email? Anyway hope it having loads of fun and speaking lots of espanol si xxx
Hello Darlings Hope you are sleeping and eating well. We are v. jealous that we never had the gumption to something as exciting as you and love hearing your news and experiencing it all vicariously.
OMG This could be a book! It sounds a bit like an ordeal, but I'm sure you'll be better people for it! My favourite bit: "...Arrived in Copan at night, another grimy hotel, dyed Harriets hair red (definitely no longer lamb-like)..." Love Rod
