WOW!!!!!!! so i just got back from my epic two week roadtripping experience around the south island of NZ. dayum, i do NOT want to go back to school! all i want to do is travel, travel, travel! alright sooooooo what all did i do in the past 14-ish days? well, Malia, Elyse and i took our wonderful POS car, bluebird for a lil trip to explore more of the south island. our first destination=Lake Tekapo. i have never seen a lake so incredibly blue! it was breathtaking. apparently its due to some sediment that's a result of glacier melt. and there were trees growing in the water! that night we got drunk in our car and then went to an old people's bar because it looked like a hoppin club from the outside! but it ... read more

Disclaimer: this travel blog is pretty much acting as my personal travel journal, so i'm going to be doing a lot of blabbling and ranting on, and on, and on..... woooooooooooooo! so i officially suck and continue to put off writing in this thing because i'm lazy. but hmm.... let's see if i can re-cap what has happened since i left auckland. so a group of 10 of us left the big city, two shitty cars in tow, to take an epic road trip around the North Island. kia ora!!!! or hello to y'all. So today is my last day in Auckland, the city of sails, the largest city in NZ. It's a pretty awesome place, but boy am i ready to leave!!!! The city has sooooooooo many boats! probably more than i've ever seen in one place. and there's a beautiful sky tower the looks just like the space needle in Seattle. Hey y'all!!! or should i say, Kia Ora!!! so i finally made it. i never thought the day would come, but im living my dream and am finally in New Zealand!! well, i've already been here for three days but the internet here is super shotty and i haven't been able to post anything. so let's see, what have i been up to the past few days ??? well, i survived one of the longest flights of my life! 13 hours! woot. but really it felt super short because marshall gave me one of his sleeping pills and i just passed out for the majority of it. i got to the airport and was stuck in customs for over two hours because apparently pepper spray is illegal here and i had a talking to by the ... read more
