For the past year, I have been teaching English in Madrid. In the states, I worked at a preschool, so I thought I would be pretty well equipped to just teach a few classes on the side to children. Boy..was I wrong. Spanish children are not what I am used...at least not the ones who can afford private English tutoring. Here, the average price per hour is 20 euros...and mostly weathly families are interested in their children learning English.
