The funny thing about people is , you never know who you encounter. I´m a 24 year old fabulous lady from NY. On the road for technically six months, form NY to Central America. It's the times that are unplanned that make any trip worthwhile. I woke up early in the hostel at Isla Mujeres and ordered breakfast. While I was ordering at the receptionists' desk, I found out I was being looked for? Looked for? By who? Not the police, I swear I didn't bring anything illegalonto the island. Ok, so maybe it was a bunk bed , and I was on the top bunk, he on the bottom. That was my first night in Cancun. In NY,I left my house at 6 in the morning and took a cab to Newark Airport in New Jersey. For those of you who don´t already know I occasionally suffer from motion sickness. I don't feel nervous. I don't have goosebumps. I'm actually feeling kind of mellow. In fact I've never felt so calm. I do feel that I have way too much to carry in one backpack, but I am not going to be one of those smelly rustic backpackers. I've smelled enough to know, I WILL have enough clean underwear.
