| 14th November 2009 yadi | The same experience in Keukenhoff - From: Cool Holland - Keukenhoff Park Sekitar tahun 1995 -1997 saya beberapa kali kunjungi Keukenhoff Park disela-sela liburan kuliah. Sy kebetulan tugas studi lanjut di University of Ghent Belgium. Taman itu betul-betul indah dan saya foto keindahan itu dalam hampir 20 roll film saat itu dan membuat saya sangat kagum dengan kombinasi warna-warni dll nya. Pengalaman yang tidak akan terlupakan.... |

| 5th October 2009 Kerry Tuggle | Nice story - From: Home coming - Southern Arizona style What a great story...I think it was called Sierra Vista Junior High School (Go Wildcats), or at least that was what it was called when I attended 7th-9th grades in the mid 70's. I to remember the drive-in theater, ( I went to Carmicheal too), I am sadden that the AW isnow gone, I am even more sadden that the old Buena is gone, while the new Buena looks nice, it doesn't have the character the old Buena had...remember the stables behind the school past the practice fields...through the wash (now a road)...thanks for the walk down memory lane. | 12th June 2008 Lois Theodoratus | Dutch ancesters names Kuykendall - From: Cool Holland - Keukenhoff Park My grandmother was 100% Dutch which I found out when I started in genealogy in 1999. Her ancesters were from Amsterdam. The first generation coming to the US in 1646 was A Jacob Luursen Van Kuykendall. I am in the 11th generation after Abraham came to the US and to New Amsterdam on the east coast of the US, which is now Manhatten Island. I have been through the Amsterdam airport several times, and would love to come and stay a few days in Amsterdam and walk around the area the Kuykendall families lived. I live in Skagit County, Washington State. We have Dutch bulb growers on the Skagit Flats and I understand Holland gets a large share of their tulip bulbs from these farmers. We have a 3 week Tulip Festival in April when the tulips are in bloom and have many thousand visitors who come to walk in the fields and take pictures. It is beautiful coming in to the airport and over the tulip fields in Amsterdam. I feel I have a connection. |

| 29th March 2008 George | Keukenhoff - From: Cool Holland - Keukenhoff Park I was there in April of 1991 and still can't believe how incredibly beautiful the park is. The landscaping alone rivals anything I've ever seen. Add to that the colors and fragrances that abound everywhere, your visit there is one that will leave you in awe. |

| 27th July 2007 Ksue44 | Thank you! - From: Nxai Pan National Park Goodness, forgive me - I haven't checked out my comments. Alan, I so throughly enjoyed my safari to Botswana. Two scary moments: when Mama lion sat next to our Range Rover (I could've patted her); and when I thought one of the male bull elephants were going to charge us. The stars, the moon, everything was so awesome. Timing was perfect. We did have an Impala jump over the hood of our Range Rover. I enjoy sharing my pics - they are a labor of love! |
| 19th June 2007 Alan Critchlow | Impala? - From: Nxai Pan National Park Karen, hi! I enjoyed your photos. However, the fact that the male impala was "checking you out!" was probably because he was thinking "Do you mind? We springboks can be quite touchy you know!" Several years ago I camped at Baines Baobabs and the setting with the moonlight over the pan was amazing! Best wishes, Alan |
