Tanzania is beautiful Hi Suzana, sorry for my delayed response, but I am glad to hear from you! I felt very welcome KARIBU SANA in Tanzania, the people are rich in heart and very kind to each other, and to tourists. I learned alot from those people. I did get to travel to Ngorongoro crater, it was SO BEAUTIFUL and amazing to see so many animals in one place, it was one of my favorite safari destinations. Have you been to Tanzania, or are you Tanzanian? Thank you for your wishes and I wish you the best as well!

"Nedeunder" Down-under As I look back on all your blogs. You have had an incredible experience. Met loads of new friends, seen magnificent sights, learnt to surf in the Indian Ocean, cuddled a Koala just to name a few. Glad you returned home, even if only to plan your next adventure Graduate School.
Mt Kilimanjaro Loved your blog on Tanzania. Climbed to the top twice in 1965 when I was a member of the mountain club. Also climbed Mt Meru twice, once in the fog on top and had to throw rocks ahead to know when to stop as it drops off at the top. Also have a wooden carved Chagga pombe drinking cup from when I worked up on the mountain- was working for the ministry on water and irrigation. The original irrigation canals on the mountains bringing water from the west to the east were built by the Germans before WWI. Also used to have fresh caught trout for breakfast. Was great.
Amazing I'm so excited that you are out experiencing all of these things. Something that I'm not sure I'll be able to do so thank you so much for sharing! Have a great time!
Stop Making Me Jealous!! That sounds like such a lovely getaway when I am sitting at the front desk of the Mercer office in COLD MN!!
Keep living the dream lady!!

My Birth Place Dear Kirsten,
I am glad you are enjoying your stay in my birth/home town Copenhagen. I have always enjoyed returning to visit her. There is a invisible draw string that always pulls me back, as it does to you.
You and Ingrid used to travel to Copenhagen (20km) with boernehaven from Karlslunde at least once a month to se all the sights in town. When you were 3 years old you could find most of the attractions you mentioned in Copenhagen. Thank you Ulla, Kirsten og Mogens from Boernehaven.
Love you
Your mother
Amazing So much fun to read your blog and hear about what you are seeing. We were in Stonehenge in the late 70's and actually were able to walk amongst and sit on the stones. It truly is an amazing site !!! Soon after it was fenced and that was a good thing for preservation.
Here I stand, at one of life's many crossroads, waiting to embark on my own adventure - a round the world trip, centered around a 4 week volunteer experience in Rau, Tanzania, surrounded by a globe-trot to visit all of my extended family. How exciting!
In the Waiting Zone ...
I write this as I wait in the airport, on my way to Europe. The physical act of traveling is sooo drawn out. Ironic how traveling is such an active experience, but in order to travel we must wait. Life consists of the joy we experience through action, and its sustainability through the Waiting Zone. So many peopl... full info
