After the Canyon, we needed something nice and relaxing, so we headed into Banff (gorgeous as anyone who's been there will know). A quick look at Elbow Falls and some wildlife spotting (FINALLY, but sadly no Moose yet) and we drove up Sulfur Mountain to the Banff Upper Hot Springs. We expected something a little more... natural looking... but nevertheless sitting in the water was INCREDIBLE!! The water flows from the mountain at 54 degrees, but by mixing it with more mountain water, its cooled to 40 degrees before it hits the pool. So you go in, get changed into swimmers, wash excess dirt and what not off your skin in a quick shower, and walk right into steaming waters from the mountains!
