Uploading pix -- they may be tooo big, eh! I think I know why yoiu are having trouble getting pix uploaded to Travelblog.org . The files created by yo8ur camera are 2 big for uploadeing. SO, heres what I do.
1. I download an app called Irfanview that is a photo editor that has an option to reduce the size of each file.
Go to http://www.tucows.com/preview/194967 and download + Install a copy on the machine you are working on.
2. Bring up Irfanview off your desktop and "open" your pix
3. Select your pic and select Image/Resize-Resample and set the size to 640 by ?? and "save as" the file in JPG format
Now the file you saved will be great for travelblog.org
Amazing! I cannot wait to see the photos -- especially of the village. I remember our visit to South Africa and meeting a young woman in the Cultural Village and discussing the struggles she faces. I realized that the major difference b/w her life and mine was where we were born. Made me feel so fortunate.
Please keep the "blogs" coming. BTW - what is a blog?
XO Sharon
Photos???? This sounds so wonderful! (How do we see your photo gallery????) Where are we going tomorrow... we can't wait!!!!
Start learning those names.. there will be a quiz when you return!

Serena Lodge Ohh, glad yu made it to the Serena. Its a fine place right on the muddy river and I assume you have also seen the friendly crock who lives in the river. Have a great time.
PS: Still in India and having the adventure of a lifetime
Roar . . . . . . We await the next installment . . .
Can hardly believe the good luck to find all those lions! Watch for the Southern Cross in the night sky.
ENJOY Not sure what time in the evening you are arriving in Nairobi (gets dark by about 530pm) but if it is light keep an eye out for Mt Kenya--should have a good view and from the airplane you should see it from about 80 miles away!
The Rift Valley is stunning from the air as well and you'll have no problem seeing that. The last few hours of the flight should be spent looking out since the scenery will be stunning!!!!!!
Just hope for clear weather :)
ENJOY
safe adventures Hope you have an amazing time on this trip of a lifetime! Can't wait to see the scrapbook that will come out of this.. or should I say scrapbooks....
