25th December 2006 Jett	Sawdust Jubilee - From: A Little Recognition for Riddle I grew up in Riddle during the 1970/80 time. The biggest event for the town is the yearly Sawdust Jubilee held around July 4th. Riddle has a huge display of fireworks on this day as well. National Geographic society could have a great article on the simple life here with the hard working men and women of this town in the timber business.

26th April 2006 Dad	Me too! - From: The End of an Era I was saddened to hear of the upcoming demolition of the tower. It was such a proud symbol of our (Rainier's) entering the modern age. The fact that it increased our tax base by a factor of 20 didn't hurt any either. To me it is all such a waste. And I grieve. Thanks for a thoughtful blog.
