SO glad to hear (and see) all of this, and what you have been up to, Kevin. It couldn\'t have worked out any better and I am so happy that you will have had this incredible opportunity which, I am certain has been transformative in all the right ways. Its clear that there has been something magical that happened with respect to both your contribution to the children and in turn what they have done for you. be safe, my friend..and come back when you can to say hello, Kevin. I look forward to that.
be safe..and love from your friends at Notre Dame,
Jim
ps those are the biggest hamburgers I have ever seen in my life...its clear that you enjoyed every bite!! :)
Love the corn-rows! Kevin, what a great look for you! But seriously, I can't tell you how impressed I am with all of your adventures. What a truly life-changing experience. xo, your Godmonster, Twisty
LOVE your blog! Kevin, Thanks for the update! I love hearing about your adventures. And I also love the way you tactfully omitted any commentary on the BCS game. Who needs more of that. Three of those Alabama players are in jail as of this morning's paper (I know, big surprise...) I guess they got into some mischief...something about knocking some students unconscious and stealing thier wallets. Nick Saban kicked them off the team -- but not soon enough. Anyway, what is that one photo you posted that looks like cave paintings?? That is cool! So, my Godson - be careful, watch what you eat and drink and stay healthy. Don't worry, I will not be venturing over there to visit you any time soon! UNless it's to see some cave paintings. xo

What a Merry Christmas! Kevin-
Thanks for taking the time to share your Christmas experience with all of us. Sounds like it will be one you will long remember. What a great opportunity to be half way around the world witnessing the universal hope and faith that all kids have at Christmas! And what a perfect way to top it off - watching ND in a bowl game! Happy landings, and a happy, happy new year to you.
Big hugs from the Engelmans
Thank you Kevin Kevin, thank you for including us in a Christmas that you will remember the rest of your life. You are not only living the dream you are making it come true for all the lives you have touched. God Bless.
What a great Christmas present - seeing your beloved ND in a national championship! Kevin-
So happy to hear all about your latest adventures with Open Arms. I'm sure your voice added to the throngs cheering for the Irish in Miami with be just what's needed for an ND win! Safe travels, Merry Christmas, and Happy New year. Go irish!
Happy Birthday Hey Kevin!
I wish I was there it sounds soooooo much fun!!!:) Happy Birthday!!! Please teach the kids YOLO and say thats what some crazy girls say in america!!!!
YOLO!!!! Dear Kevin,
That sounds awesome!!!!! The only bad thing about it is it makes me feel lazy! I hope you are having just as much fun in Africa as yOu do when you hear us and belles LOUD voices. Keep doin what you are doing have fun keep that pool clean and don't scrape your knee on the bottom!!!!!
Thanks for the note! In fact I think the cut was a little worse than I originally thought as it has finally closed up without a scab. But we won the lifeguard relay so that's all that matters. Blood, sweat, tears right haha.
Yolo Hey Kevin,
Guess who it is! Belle, Caroline, and Kathryn! The pool is quiet without your loud cheer. (When I say West, you say Moreland, WEST, MORELAND) Hahaha. YOLO!!!!!
