Well, we arrived safely yesterday, Sunday, in Amsterdam to a sunny and warm day. We came right away to our apartment (the loft of a flat that has 49 stairs that get progressively smaller as you go up!). Glad we packed light! Very nice and comfortable and very close to the downtown - just a 10 minute walk. We tried to stay awake as long as possible yesterday and mangaged to do a fair bit of walking about before we couldn't go any longer. We took a 2 hr rest and then headed out to dinner at a nice Spanish restaurant
