Today with friend guide , we went to visit the old street where have been re builded recently for keeping heritage and recording the old life style in Taiwan. Old buildings with traditional style, you will experience where people used to be.. different atmosphere and nice. i am so gald that Taipei city government focus on this and make it nice. Will see many artists exhibitions, it is closed to MRT Longshan temple, only 5 minits after MRT stations, very convenient. good to visit .for tourist ... read more

Finaly, i decided to visit Penghu island Taiwan in stead of Phukey in Thailand this year, just because of the serious spread of influenza there. Three days two nights this time flight from Taipei airport, one hour only, not spent too much time on transportation. It is the hot summer here , but the first feeling in Penghu was great with confortable wind. At least, it is not as humid as in Taipei. I rent the motorcycle with half day to walk around the city, to explore the city and found nice local food vendors with fresh sea foods. The second day, i jointed the tour package to visit the other smaller islands located out of penghu where are famous with their special geography and the protection reservation of sea birds. ... read more

Traditiona Taiwan ice, with many different kinds of adding, red bean, green bean, buding, penuat..fruits or aborsing milk with sugar water. it is very populous to eat ice in summer, not ice cream here.. try to see the pics that u could imagine how enjoyful to have thoese in summer in Taiwan.... read more

flower market held on weekend in Taipei city, between Ren-Ai,KingKuo road. No MRT stations there but still could take the bus to there. It is famous here for local people to buy flowers,plants or seeds. Orchit will be the populous and famous plants in Taiwan for official places used for decoration. Lots of different kind of brands of orchits . that is my favorus one.... read more

FuLon is famous of summer activities in North Taipei, it held the sand sculture, music concern at summer , also the good place for biking travelors. This early morning, we took the local express from Taipei train station to Fulon station, it took us almost one hour to arrive. Today is not so humid and good with sunshine for go biking, we rented four bicycles with three hours, one hundred per person, it is not too expensive yet. Fulon also is used to be well known by its summer activites, biking and suffering . so there are many young people come here to enjoy their summer. ... read more

Today, we decided to visit the place again by taking bus at ZhungShai -Fushin MRT station exit 2, it is freguent of bus, from Taipei to our destination, it took us NT$87/per person and 1 hour . it was cloudy and a bit humid, even thouhg it is not really summer, but still hot for us. At 9:00 o'clock, we arrived at Jinguashi where used to be populous by gold in acient time, but now, it is known by means of a populous Taiwan movie, so many people come here for seeking for interesting things and foods. You could sit on by the windown in tea shops, have your tea time, chatting with friend with comfortable wind . June, snow flower festival held during the early May to June which there are many tourists to visit on many places in Taiwan, Snow flower with white color , you could see all mountain covered with white flowers like the snowing in winter, of course, here in Taiwan, we seldom to see the real snow except in the high mountain area. So people like to descirbe the white flower as "June snow flower", with wind blowing, the flowers fell down slowing like really snowing in the forest, also along the mountain path, we saw lots of them. After go hiking, we tranferred our next destination- SanShiya. to visit the old street there. with famous old temple- ZuShiYea temple , complicated and amazing decorations on the roof or top ceilling. all make us feel that it ... read more

Today, after waking up with tiny cloudy and cold weather, so weird, it is already closed to summer, but the weather changed dramatically these days from hot to cold. anyway, i decided to visit Red Floor in Ximenting where used to be the market of creative for the young. Look at what are new there, well decorated , cute stuff.. but most of them are for girls. Beside the red floor, there is a publoc sqaure with many coffee shops around the corner, with many gays sitting there for drinking and chatting also, with many foreigners , you could find one restaurants named "Alley's Cat" on the second floor..i have been to try, its pizaa and pies are nice, if you come there next time you could try.
