Hi Gill I love the blog. It's almost like being there. Keep it up.
I might get you to give us lessons when you get home so we can try it?
Sounds like you are having a great time, I hope the tour goes well.
Love Frank.
Hi'ya Frank & Rae, Thanks Frank....
Thanks for your comment on my blogging (or blagging...lol). I guess cos I am travelling solo it gives me the chance to share my story/trip with my loved ones....which is all part of a holiday. Anyway, I enjoy it (must like sound of my own voice...lol)
Anyway, I expect that my blogs will slow down now as tomorrow afternoon meet up with the tour group. I guess we will have early starts, shared dinners etc and so may not blog as often.
Will be happy to show you how to use start the blog but its really easy. (www.travelblog.org).
Not long til your trip now ...getting excited I bet.
Cheers,
Gillian
pictures please! We want pictures of the watch & bag....iether here or on FB! When do you move on from NY? Are you doing the trips to Philly & Lancaster while you're still based in NY (can't bring myself to call it the 'Big Apple'! How are you copingwith the US notes, they're all the same colour aren't they. Anzac Day here tomorrow....set the alarm for 5 am for the dawn service in Lobethal then all the family are coming for the big breakfast. Keep the blogs coming xxxx
Amazing Gill!! Can't imagine how it would feel going for a walk in Central Park, Times Square & actually seeing the Empire State Building & so on..... & I'm in awe of your using the subway & I'm so impressed you stood so close to the windows on the Rockerfeller observation deck! Apparently it's just after 6.30am Thurs in New York so you'll be getting up to another fabulous day soon I suppose. Booked your helicopter flight yet & did you decide on a day or night time one?
The kids would have told you they came over last night I suppose, & apart from Brenda being an arsehole all seems well with them. As they were leaving they thanked us for 'being nice' to them....silly buggers, we weren't being nice......we just love 'em!
hope you can keep your blogging up, as we are so excited when one comes through.....even though I always feel a bit teary reading them, but that's just me being a big sister/sook! As you say to the kids, have a great time and be safe! Love you xxxx
Amazing! Congratulations Gill...does sound like you had a brilliant day. Looking forward to travelling vicariously through your blog....We went to Mt Barker and Meadows today....Jealous?!?! xxx
Say hi to San Francisco . Hi Gillian ...glad to see that you arrived safe and sound in San Francisco . Is it not the most facinating place ? Don't forget to have the chowder down on the docks . There is a ferry that takes you over to a cute little villiage and gives you fabulous views of the harbour and city . Might be something you would like if you have time . Enjoy the city ...wish I was there with you . xxxxLynda
more followers Hiya Gill (or will it be good morning by the time you read this?), hope you are well rested. I tried to forward the link to your blog to Jennifer & Joanne, but it doesn't allow, so could you send them an invite?

Well, you're there, that's the scariest part done! Bet you're absolutely knackered, I'm knackered just thinking about it! Got up at 6.30am so I could check if you'd blogged or FBd yet, so I've done most of the washing & housework already. Have a good sleep and get to it in the morning, enjoy! xxxx
