Canada's Waiting...so is Russell & Ottawa I am sure that you are going to make this last (for a while) trip really count and it will be full of fun and adventure, so different from some of the third world countries that you have previously visited.
We, at home, anxiously await your return (what an amazing Birthday gift!!!) and look forward to helping you ease back into your new life back in Ottawa.

This newsy Blog will hold me until February!!! What a newsy blog, to go along with our Sunday Web Cam "visits"! Sooooo looking forward to your extremely short visit in February....but at least I will be able to actually give you an real hug in person. Hopefully your "Box of Christmas" will arrive in time for your Christmas celebrations....going by boat is not the fastest mode of transportation... but being less than half the $300 Air Shipping costs, that was a no brainer. Keep those blogs coming. Everyone loves to read them!!!

ENRICHING! The constant elevation of your personal life experiences inspires all your readers to take advantage of what is out there for them in their lives. The more you experience, the more it stimulates the hunger for further growth. My.....how you've grown since October, 2005!!!

Beware of B-C-C Yes! Follow your mom's advice... wear a hat... and use sunblock if you don't want to get B-C-C (baso-cellular carcinoma) on that cute nose of yours! :>) Keep enjoying yourself!
KOREA: ROUND TWO... Hey Jessica,
Wow! What a newsie blog!!! Glad to see you're "stretching" those brain cells in so many directions over there this year. It's good to hear that you are keeping yourself even busier, if that is possible, making the most of your second year in Korea.
Talk to you Sunday on Web Cam!
Love Mom
PS Get a hat for your NEXT hike!!!!
Hi Jessie! I'm so glad you're settling in again and having fun! Can you believe there is still snow here?? It melts as soon as it hits the ground, but enough is enough! I can't wait for Puerto Rico! Less than a month! You have to watch "Lost in Translation" if you can. I thought of you. Scarlet Johanson looks like you! Anyway, lots of love to you!!! Hugs,Andrew
Whoaaa! Korean's sure don't hold anything back!! What a great idea to measure your students' writing and English abilities but boy they sure aren't inhibited when it comes to describing how they feel about their "favourite" person!! Hahahaha! With your expert tutelage, I do expect that maintenance man to have mastered the English language by the time your year is up though. :>) You should pride yourself in the fact that all these people are coming to you to learn YOUR language. That has got to feel good to be helping them with something they are so passionate about.
hey! those drawings are great. koreans are so honest!! it's crazy! teecha-you're crazy!!! haha got that a lot. sounds like you are keeping busy. i love the after school classes. that's such a great idea. how are brendan's classes going? when does summer break start? i miss you!
Looks really cute. Your kitty looks just like Gizmo ( hope are baby is getting better). Still enjoying touring around Europe but only three weeks left of my three months. Will tell you all about it and send lots of pics when we get home end of April.

WOW! Your apartment is so cute! Way better than last year's, huh?! Your bathroom is great-- with an enclosed shower and everything. I would hang on to that for a while! Maybe we'll see you in Seoul next year.
Glad Koah is feeling right at home! Wonderful apartment....love the double desk "with a view". How come Brendan's side got the Litter Box?? :>) So glad you are feeling at home in your new apartment....I'm sure it is nice to come home to each night after school and Koah can get her exercise going up and down those stairs. Chow!

Did I see you walking a dog in Russell? Hi Jessie, Did I see you walking a black dog on Craig Street in Russell one cold Friday morning? I hope I did not miss you when you were home. Keep the blogs coming, keep in touch, have a great time.
I'm 28 years old. I decided back in 2005 to pack up my things and head to South Korea with my boyfriend. Lived in Daegu our first year. Then decided to move to the big city of Seoul and taught there for 2 years for the Seoul Public schools. During the past 4 years we backpacked through most of South East Asia as well as some parts of Africa and Europe.
Now I'm back home in Canada getting my second degree.
