Fun! Hi Jessica, I loved your journal entry! I could just picture you in the water jumping from elephants (hey, maybe it is the alternative to swimming with dolphins). You are a talented writer -- when you are a published author, I can say, "I knew her when...."! Hope you are enjoying the rest of your trip. Love, Cheryl
Inspiration Wow Jess... I can only imagine you walking down the street holding the Usagi. Too bad you couldn't bring it back with you. The pics are still amazing, especially the gardens... some parts remind me of my trip to China, but all the more amazing! You're inspiring me to take a trip there!
Never too late! Wow Jess... This trip sounds amazing, and I've only been through 2 blogs! I read your e-mails before, but now I'm glad I found these :) So what did you think of the geisha? Please tell me they're like the book! haha. We'll have to make sure to go through the rest of your pictures when you get back, that is if you fixed your camera!
boxing after review of the boxing, yes I will be your personal trainer. I figure with your length my duties would be minimal, as no one coudl touch you. Have you found a way to cheat though...that's the true question.
God I'm so jealous of you right now!! Luang Prabang is one of my favorite little cities in the world, hope you enjoy!! You have to go tubing down the river in Vang Vien as well :) Can't wait to see pictures and hear stories!!
Sugoi Hey Jess, Hiroshima looks so interesting and Miyajima looks beautiful! I am so glad that you are getting to travel around and see some interesting places since I dragged you out here to work for a dying company! Gomene!!!
Love it! Hi Jessica,
We love your updates and the photographs are excellent! I think my favorite is the lanterns photo (probably because we have seen those here), though the photos of the places you're visiting are marvelous!
The baked chicken skins sound delicious, I wonder if I could try it or would the patent prevent that?
Enjoy your VACATION?
(Notice that we have a new e-mail address!)
Love, Jackarene
Gomene!!! Jess, I am so sorry I recommended this crazy company!! But I am glad I got you over to Japan for a bit and that we got to have a mini reunion in Kyoto!!!
Ok ok, I know the D.C. aquarium bites, but no need to bash it publically! It looks like you're having a blast. That ferris wheel looks amazing! I'd love to go on it. Fill me in on your current work status!!
Hey jj jazzy! Man it so wonderful to read your voice. You are looking good in these here pictures that you have put. Beautiful as always. It is insane when you make such a big move and you know no one. I had my sister so it was much easier and I'm still in the US so you and Breana are one upping me in that department. I can't believe you already have to leave your apartment where you are living right now. That is insane dude! Do you feel really tall among all the short japenese folk? We got us some japenese interns and they are all in epcot to bring more authentic japeneseness I guess. The food and wine festival is going right now at epcot so I am definitely going to hit that up. We got a $15 gift card from work and then we got 2 free movie tickets today. We actually get some cool free stuff from Disney so right on. So I don't know if this is too long of a comment but I've got a lot to say. It has been a while and I miss you! Enjoy Japan!
Buddha belly Hey Jessica, it looks like you are having a great time over there. What a great experiance! The picture of you in front of The Great Budda Hall is kind of dark so I can't tell for sure, but it looks like you are faking a "Budda Belly", or is that just funky lighting? Miranda calls me Budda Belly all the time so I would fit in quite well over there. LOL - Have a great time and tell Yasahero (I am sure I spelled that wrong) I said hi and will always be eternally gratefull for him introducing me to Shiatsu.
