So due to the lack of wifi, I have not been able to blog since Munich. Well we Visited Saltzburg to visit Moatsarts house, and several sights from the sound of music, like the 16 going on 17 gazebo or the gardens where they sing Do Re Mi. The next morning we visited a salt mine that you got to ride down two slides and take a boat ride across a lake where they harvest salt. Then we we entered Itally. We Took a train up the mountain the day after I last blogged. We where hoping for a clear view of the north face of the Eiger. Alas, we only got glimpses of the bottom. We took a nice walk thou. we saw eidelweiss. It was beautiful. Then today we went to the Swiss Army Knife factory. My brothers and I each got knew Swiss army knives. Then we did a big drive. We drove from Lucerne to Munich. That's where we are know. We had been listening to Catching Fire, (CF) and finished it about two to three hours before we got to Munich. It is nice here in the swiss alps. after we left paris we drove to Nancy and spent the night there. Then we ended up at some old stone Chalets up on a mountian. We walked up to them. Our hike was five minutes. We drove most of the way. The Chalets where old and crkumbeling but it was verry cool because we could climb up into a hole in the wall and see the stone walls of the incide. Then We drove the rest of the way to the Swiss/French boarder and drove into Basel for the night. After That we drove to Bern and spent the day there. we went to the house of Albert Einstein. So two days ago we went in to Notre dam and it started to rain so we wanted to see the gargoils go blaaaaaaaaaaaaah like they where overly drooling out rain water but no we didnt. so we headed to Mont Matre where it poured werry hard and we missed it at notredam. then that night we took a night bike tour and loved it. Hey all! I miss you all at home and hope you are reading this. So today we went to the Louvre. Wow was it crowded. It was very hot today, about 90'F. we where all in ts and shorts. the Louvre was nice and cool. We saw the Code of Hammurabi, the Mona Lisa, the great architecture, and the glass pyramid. then we took a walk down the Champs-Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe. The view is amazing from the top. So today was our first full day in France and we walked for a very long time in the heat. It was icky!! My feet hurt and I must buy myself a new pair of feet, (that was a reference to the book Inkheart when the aunt says that same line after walking foe a great amount of time). As of know I have walked 15506 steps. I accumulated all those steeps by walking to the catacombs. We left London the day after an exciting day of sight seeing. We visited the tower of London witch actiualy has 20 towers not one. We learned about mutipul executions. I will relay the stories at home. We also visited the Curchhill war cabnit war rooms. There we learned about world war two and Winston Curchhill. The mesuem was very interesting, partly becouse it was interactive. Itr was verry interesting. I would recommend it to all ages and would love to go back. Now we are in Paris and loving it. All we really did was make it to the apartment and find a market and boulangerie very close by that we will walk to for breakfast and our shopping needs. We arrived safely on Sunday and sleepy once we got the room. We where done. We finally woke up and rode the eye. Amazing. Kenney got us up and going at 5 in the morning. So we walked around a sleeping London. It was cold and quiet except for us. We watched the light in Big Ben go out, had breakfast in Waterloo station , and went back to bed at 9. Then we went to the British meusum. It was amazing seeing history. Therm we went to platform 9 3/4 ( thinking of you Emma and jacki) and Abby road. I miss my puppy. Ahhhhh! There is only one week untill my family and I jump on a flight and end up in London, England. I an so so so excited! I will start to lay out my wardrobe soon. I am not a girl that is absorbed in my clothes, but I still am not happy about going on a 6 week trip with 1 week worth of clothes. I will make us stop to do laundry.
