G'day! Hi you two, great to hear from you and read yet another excellent blog page - looks like you really made the most of that eye-catching camper van. Perhaps you should have tried selling a few tickets for the Arctic Monkeys' next Australian tour! Super pictures too, seems like the local wildlife has taken to you both. Have a great time in New Zealand and remember to keep in touch - we were beginning to think you'd gone walkabout! Loads of love from Mum and dad xoxoxox
Looks like you really enjoyed Vietnam and went to many of the same places as we did, and we have a lot of similar photos including the water puppetry. How dare you cast aspersions on your brothers biceps. Hope you enjoy Cambodia but I am still wondering what you are going to do after, as it is not safe to go to Thailand at the moment. Anyway you both look fit and well. Take care. Love mum and dad
Glad to see your having such a cracking time. Sex and the City cocktails eh Richard....I always knew you were a closet fan. Also, what's the problem with dog meat?! I didn't know that a can of pedigree chum would make you so queasy. Glad to see you've introduced thumb war to the local populace, I suppose the next step is slapsies or if you're feeling really brave, knuckles?!
Nothing too exciting happening here, Ar*enal were soundly thrashed by Barca the other night which was quite enjoyable. We've also just bought our house in Chelmsford.....being back makes me realise what I've missed all these years.......oh hang on I was thinking of somewhere else!
Have a great time in Vietnam and in the words of our wartime leaders "keep calm and carry on."
Lots of Love
Andrew and Kim
Easter Greetings! Great blog, great photos.... this is rapidly becoming our favourite reading material! Glad to see you're still enjoying your trip and living life to the full - don't know if you'll be able to buy all those exotic dishes here when you get home. We're very impressed to see you both taking cookery lessons, and looking forward to the opening of your first restaurant. Enjoy Vietnam, look after yourselves, and keep blogging! Lots of love and Happy Easter (can you get Easter Eggs in Vietnam?) from Mum and Dad xxx
Take care u pair So glad u sent me the link I can follow your progress.. Think more should be made of the barrier breaking dice game tho... As I said to rich sorry I missed ya in hk... Messy times.. In the words of vera Lynn "they'll be bluebirds over the White cliffs of Dover" .... Ahhh and you thought I was going to quote the other one...
Well it looks like you are still having a fantastic time. Nice haircut Richard. Its going to be a bit of a change in China. I hope you've got your winter woollies ready. Everything is fine here. We went to Bens christening on sunday which was nice and he took it all in his stride. I had a minor accident with my head again. While putting the rubbish in the outside bin wearing dad's walking boots I tripped over the trailing laces. did a nosedive and headbutted the plant pot on the patio, resulting in four stitcheS and whats worse four hours in A and E where I was forced to watch CBeebies on a large screen endlessly. I never want to see Postman Pat again. Anyway keep safe Looking forward to the next one!love mum and dad PS Is that drink you had the one that Gordon Ramsay tried?
Congratulations! Well done you two! Great to read all about your adventures and see these brilliant photos. So glad you're having a lovely time - and surviving in spite of a few mishaps! Can't wait to see the next instalment... xxx
Guts of Straw I'm glad to hear you're having such a good time. I have to say that I am impressed by the relentless pace of your travels, although I'm seriously underwhelmed by the strength of your guts! I thought you used to go to the Shafique every week - surely you should be used to it by now! Richard if you're going to get a tattoo at least get them to put an anchor on your arm, or the word "Mum" or something - do it right bruv! There isn't a huge amount to report from good old blighty. Kim and I went out for a romantic Valentines meal at the shafique accompanied by Mum and Dad - needless to say we were the only people there. You will also be pleased to know that I have repatriated the Wii, I pulled off a solo on Guitar Hero last night that Slash himself would have been proud of.
Enjoy the rest of your time in India..I've got only one more thing to say.............. chaaiiiiiiiiii!!!!
So here we go..... about to embark on the ultimate trip of a life time :)
Its sure to be filled with sun, sea, amazing sights and great banter. But given recent events, lets just hope we both come back in one piece!!
No doubt we'll keep you all posted along the way xx... full info
