Gorgeous pictures Lush scenary and striking views - we had never seen this type of close up perspective. Also, nice sense of humor about the grind and frustrations of travel in distant places. this was not a waste. i thoroughly enjoyed reading about your time in good ole China. The pics are amazing, but you already knew that. Everything looks so neat and just "wow" you know? Post about school!! And it's potential scariness but coolness. and keep these colorful pics coming! toodles to you!
Tell me.... Jeanette - So - what would you call me in Chinese? Your pictures and descriptions are just wonderful - I think you ought to become a writer rather than a doctor!
So - when do classes start? (Don't yell at me!!!!)
Love you.
Aunt Anne

i'm curious as to the "language barrier." how's the understanding going? bye, babe. lots of love from me as usual. <3, yours truly.
Love your blog Dear Jeanette, I never knew until now that the little camera and the PC you brought with you could do such wonders. Your travelblog made thousands of miles vanish and made me feel as if I were traveling with you and visiting my Shanghai family, even though I have to stay and work in Chicago. Great job! Love, Mom
WOWSA - gotta keep up! Jeanettie -
GREAT pictures!!!! Sounds like you are having a great time - should I start practicing my chinese so that you and your cousins, aunts, uncles and Waigong (he looks VERY good) can laugh at me like you and Sam used to????
AND - answer your Mom's email questions!!! She raises a REALLY good point.
AND - tell Sam to email me!!!
Love you - see you in about 6 weeks!
Aunt Anne

Hiya, I'm studying abroad in Shanghai for the next four months and I'm keeping this blog primarily for Kim (it wouldn't exist without her) but also for my family and friends at home and for me (because I know I'll forget it all if I don't write it down.) Anyways, all I have to say is that I have the absolute best friends in the world...why am I leaving them again??... full info
