Zim/SA
I stumbled on your blog by browsing for blogs on work experience in Northern Canada for psych nurses and I found myself captivated by all your other blogs and travels. Your work with World Vision is amazing and you are so blessed to have the opportunity to meet your sponsored child. You write very well and Im glad you had great experiences in my home countries Zimbabwe/South Africa. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your globetrotting and thank you for sharing your wonderful experiences.

Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words Rachael. If you ever have further questions about working up north, feel free to let me know! I hope to return to Africa some day soon and I'm really glad you enjoyed my writing. It helps motivate me to continue, despite the fact that I didn't do any blogging on my most recent trip to South America, aside from Rio de Janiero. All the best!

WELCOME HOME!!!!
My Dearest Jay Joseph, As you have been experiencing a trip of a lifetime, we have all been sitting back here in our parkas, enjoying the mundane joys of our lives here in the lower mainland. People have been showing their love for each other more than usual in the last month that you have been away, so much so, that Wal-mart has put a "red light" special on the midnight madness sale tonight of bullet proof vests...in fact, if you buy one, I do believe you get the next one absolutely free. I think I am going to try and get there early to get a good parking spot....hmmmmm on second thought, since I will be going to the mall without a vest ........I had better take the bus.....don't want to take any chances. I can relate to some of your experiences you have been enjoying, why just yesterday, I too was in the supermarket when a lady came up and spoke to me in "broken English", but I must say I didn't feel the bond like you did. I do believe Jimbo gave you strict instructions about the monkeys,.feeding or otherwise.....We are all still in search of our "sweat glands", seems they disappeared last July not to have been experienced since...probably won't be until this July that anyone sees them again!!!It has been a real joy reading about your adventures...I am going to miss it, which is why I would like to suggest you write about your "Life in Port Coquitlam"..I think that would make a great blog too!! I am so thrilled, as I know Momma Chris must be too, that you made it through your adventure safe and sound, Welcome back to the real world, don't be a stranger!! Big Hug to follow...Much Love Momma Kerr xxooxxooo

Jay, First off, on behalf of all your friends at home, we miss you!!! Secondly, i just realized that it is no coincidence that you get home on a Friday, what a perfect day for a shhhhaaakkkker!! I won't take....I'm tired, I'm tired of drinking, I'm hung over, or I'm jet lagd. We are getting hammered!! Cya soon buddy, miss you! Mike

Hey Jay, another great blog! thanks for sharing... though I must say I enjoy reading mama Kerrs and Jim's comments just as much....the three of you may be able to work something out for some kind of travellling.... book maybe?!?! your adventures seem pretty fascinating... the thought of a few bevies, a hammock and amazing beach?!?! beem me up scotty! well we are all thinking of you and miss you! Madison again, enjoyed your pics... she was a bit curious about grandfather and grandmother rock but I kept the description to her brief!!! she did have another question... why are you at a fire show? she has says in "anyo" which she explained means hello in.... chineese...or korean...she can't quiet make up her mind.... which is suspect all in itself! anyhow, glad all is well! and I see on facebook you survived your full moon party!!! good thing, I was worried about that one, I've heard stories abou that thing!!!! anyhow, love and miss ya, talk soon!

Chillin
Hey Jay Joseph Sounds like you are in the place to be!! I'm incredibly jealous when I see your photos and read your blog. I bet you can hardly wait to try scuba diving in Burrard Inlet...old tires, thrown away guns, ecolai. Everything sounds picture perfect and looks that way too. Keep the commentary coming, it's great...Jim K.
