Yo how are you? Just read all your situations in Oz at the end don't worry know how you feel i have no money no job and am homeless when i get back to London after Cyprus but hey i have a tan chin up xx me
You hit the money wall! It had to happen Jules, money is the big one and you seemed to have coped well, although I know it didn't feel like it at the time. Using your card for the drinks and getting the cash was a good one - in my day it was getting people to cash cheques as there weren't cards! Plus selling belongings which I'm sure you could still do. Anyway, yet again, you came through and as I write must be en route to NZ if not already there. Have a good time, I haven't been but have lots of friends who've travelled there and it is very very beautiful. Can't wait to hear your opinions.

Long time no Speak! Hey Jules, sounds like you're having a right laugh out there. How long are you away for? I'm still living in Harrogate and working in Recruitment, going well but really busy! Have bought a house with my girlfriend, now fiance as we've got engaged on my 30th in Ibiza, i proposed to her in the port of the old town whilst having a dinner with all of our closest friends, obviously i did it when they were all busy and then we celebrated all weekend together.I've seen DH a couple of times but no one else as i dont tend to go to Leeds much and work away sometimes. Thinking of getting married in June 2008 and we're currently looking for ideal venues, it's a nightmare but i am sure we'll find somewhere soon enough.Anyway, it's almost 17:30pm here and i'm about to finish work and go for dinner tonight.Almost the weekend thank god, it's been a manic week.Would be good to hear from you. Take care, Simon.x x x
And she blogs again Well done yet again - you're going to get through all this and feel so proud. Don't worry about the money, it will come when you need it. Leyla and Magoo are saving but aren't having much fun (apart from any they have together which I'm not supposed to think about let alone write about).
So keep going Jules - you're an independent traveller now.

Well done you - again Just got up and I find you wrote an entry - good start to the day, for both of us. While I was out yesterday Chris started seriously cleaning the house (you are no doubt aware that I have a horror of housework) so today I really must show willing and do some of the bits he didn't get round to. Not too pleasing a project but c'est la vie. So gritting teeth she reaches for duster and window cleaning fluid...............
Time to write again Hi Julie
I note you keep logging on but also aren't blogging - time to get those fingers walking babe. Why not commit to updating once a week? If you set yourself a target like that you may just keep to it. Anyway I am dying to know how it's all going. We are having a comparatively quiet spell at the moment (no visitors from UK) after a mad month. Next people are L's friend Jemma and boyfriend Gary arriving on 26th - and then the madness starts again. Off for my morning swim (love being able to write that).
Take care.
Love Pat
Go Girl! You sound like your doing great with the whole traveling thing......well done you! Yep ure right about the footie over here, everyone has gone mad for it! - 4yrs ago we were watching it in Leeds! Gutted! Anyway babes, keep well and safe! All is ok over here, summer is finally here but unfortunately im stuck in a stinky office working! Boo hoo....speak soon love Nikki xxxxxx
You'll get there Hi Julie
Don't be bored - read a book - borrow from friends or library; walk, anywhere there's always something good to look at; sort out your belongings so you aren't schlepping crap you don't really need and thus make your load lighter. If none of these do it for you let me know and I'll think of more.

Chin up lovey Hello lovey how are you ? We're just at Auckland airport waiting for our flight to Fiji. NZ is fantasic i'm absolutly besotted by the MAORI boys. I definately want to come back for longer there's so much to do. When you come you have to stay at Cactus Jacks in Rotorura it's run by the friedliest couple and is done up like a country and western film. I wish i had more money i really don't want to go home but have the oportunity of applying for a NZ visa as we can now get a 2 year one. So if i pay off some debts in the next year i will seriously consider it. By the way our skydive was canceled because of the bad weather, so we're thinking of doing it in fiji. Hell's gate was amazing and the Maori village and feast was spectacular. Love you lots xxxx
p.s you have friends an email away
Good news Well done again - I know I overuse that phrase - you've clearly got it together and I bet you feel so relieved at being up to date with the blog and having a plan for the next stage of your journey. I'll keep commenting as long as you keep blogging. Looking forward to next entry already.

Well done you! Hi Jules
Well done, you're writing again but still have a lot of catching up to do so keep going. Don't apologise to me, I'm on a mission to keep you writing. I have a journal I kep in 1971 on a road trip to eastern Turkey with three other women. It is so good to look at and brings back so many memories I would otherwise not have. So I know you'll reget it if you do give up, hence my exhortations. Love to Lauren. I'm awaiting next episode.
Well done Jules Now you know the secret of journal writing - little and often - so you don't end up having to write a huge chunk all at once as you just have. Looking forward to seeing photos of Leyla when you get to Melbourne, maybe Rachel too if she's still there. As you no doubt know Rachel arrived yesterday but I'm not sure how long she'll be staying. Magoo is also due back shortly so Leyla's world will be complete.
It's sunny here but not warm enough to swim yet - but soon will be.
Keep up the good work with the blog.
Love
Pat
Still going strong Hi Julie
Got home to Turkey just over a week ago and am pleased to see you're still managing to keep the blog going. Magoo flies back to UK tonight which I expect you know, so Leyla will be on her own in Melbourne. She'll be fine and no doubt nipping to Sydney to visit you all.
Cheers.
Pat
