Lost last comment so trying again. If you get it twice you know why (women and technology - Chris). Giraffes in the Lake District, giraffes in Africa, which is best? Africa i guess, no contest. Steph and Matt send their love. Steph is revising (bah, humbug), it's maths tomorrow. Keeping your end up at The Rodney. It's hard work but someone has to do it. Enjoy the Tusker.......
Amazing! Sounds amazing, hope you got some pics. Keep living the dream and savour every moment. Really enjoying catching up with your adventures. Keep up the good blogging! Loads of Love Rachxx
Fun Sounds like you're having a great time despite being cold on the rim oohh-eer missus. Can't imaging kissing a giraffe good job it was jase and not you rach!!!
Nairobi I know what you mean guys. I was amazed at the slum villages right up against what seems to be the wealthiest place in Kenya. Tusker is great, try the Castle too, a bit more viscous but it does the trick. If you have a night free in Nairobi again then I recommend a place called "Carnivores", thats if its still there. You get to sample all the cuddly creatures that you enjoy petting so much, and some of the nastier ones!!!
Rothchild giraffes maybe you wouldn't want to snog one but i get the impression that lady giraffes walk around with a certain glow because of the size of there partners tongues. Its just me isn't it?
Wow, photos I can't remember what I put previously (about a minute ago, no wonder) but WOW, this blog has some goood photos. Looking forward to yours. Take care. Debra
My kind of diet Sounds like my kind of diet. Huge steak and copious beer for 3 quid. Goodbye Florida, hello Africa. Haven't told Jayne and the kids yet but I'm sure they'll love it too! Have fun........
Disaster at Wembley No sooner had you left than things in the UK go mad. I mean, Derby beating West Brom in the play off final, whatever next. Deeply depressing trip back from Wembley. Took a couple of pints in the Rodney to cheer up Vic and Simon as well as me. Still, by the time you get back we'll be half-way towards promotion. Hope the wildlife is being cooperative and photogenic. Look forward to seeing some pics. Take care.
I always miss the parties!!! Going to try to give you a call, hope I'm not too late. All the best and and good luck in your adventuring. I'm looking forward to christmas and seeing you both already but for your sake I hope the time doesn't fly by to quickly, I want you to still be re-capping this adventure when we're grandparents! Bye.

We are both taking a career break to travel the world before we finally settle down and get married in July 2008. We are overlanding through Africa, jungle trekking in Borneo, diving around Australia, campervanning across New Zealand, chilling in Fiji, stopping by L.A. and Texas on route to cruising around the Galapagos and trekking through Peru. Stay in touch with us throughout our journey via the blog, e-mail or text. We look forward to seeing everyone when we get back for Christmas!... full info
