Good job... This is what i've been waiting to hear about Jase ... I know you would not loose a drinking competition haha .. To many hang overs in Copenhagen has conviced me .. And we alll now what the Yanks performed in Denmark... I just love your uw pictures , you really have a good hand with your uw camera .. Cheers !! Mattias
Why? Why are there more photos or you two kissing animals than each other? Just kidding, sounds great, well done on the quiz, not like you Jase to rake it a little but just as well, Fraser Suites sounds quite plush. Keep enjoying yourselves cobbers!
So cute Every critter is so nice, apart from the croccy trying to eat the man. Pigglys snouting and a wombat, such a mad word you have to love it, as well as Dingo, a contender for the next Beckham boy, perhaps? All so cute I've gone all fluffy.
Lah lah lah We caught the Greyhound to Rockhampton, - lah lah lah lah - sorry, sounds like a song. Looks like you had a whale of a time. Arf arf. (I blame the '70's.)(Probably only I understand this comment, oh dear.)
Wow! I think out of all the critters you have seen, the baby roo wins paws down! Glad you're having such a wonderful trip - you look so relaxed Mona - it's doing you good. Have lots more fun and keep posting your pics. Big love from Wolvo xxxx
from the green house Hi jase rach latest blogs exellent would like to have been on the boat with the whales, with my rod, what next feels like we are their with you make every moment count . lve momand dad.
HI Spunky!! Still sounded wrong coming from a middle aged annoying woman shouting it at the top of her voice!!! Should've said "shut up you feckless gobsheen!"
Nice Whales Looks amazing. Did you let them know that Mr. Spock had saved thier mates in the future. I'm reliably informed that 'spunk' is ozzie slang for mate or good looking hunky bloke'. As Roge and Pge say ' I scorn your ignorance!!!!'
Chinatown Chinatown is a great place to visit during the day or evening for the night markets but I wouldn't recommend staying there, particularly not on Petaling Street because you have to haul all your stuff through a packed market and it can be noisy at night. A lot of the budget hotels/hostels do seem to be in this area though, and it is handy for travelling around KL and catching buses. KLCC is a much nicer part of the city to base yourself.
Fawlty Towers Lucky you! We unfortunately did NOT call Big Blue when we arrived at Fawlty Towers because we thought "how bad can this be?" And thinking back now, we SHOULD have acted unprofessionally and cancelled our booking too... Because it was THAT bad! To everyone out there: there are many hostels in Cape Town that are more like hotels, so there's no reason to stay in a sh!thole!
Sailing also.. Hi there .. Is there anything you will not try during your trip ..... ?
Well i know you have the temperature on your side.. and i don't but we had around 10 degrees , and my drysiut made it well.. we will see i January and February , when i'm going ice diving ..

Hardcore mate!! And how warm will the water be for you!! bout 6 ish! was 30 degrees at 20m in sipadan!!! and 24 on GBR!! enjoy the dive mate, hope your new dry suit is doing it's job!

I'm going wreck diving sunday (9th sept) and we expect the visibility to be under two meters... i just wanted you to know : - ) how good you really have it ... i would like to se all uw (and other ) photos to of course.. Dive safe !! /// Mattias
No but a bit of a spider! You ought to have seen the spider in our living room last night, not stuffed in a jar either. It was THIS BIG!
Sounds like Brisbane was a wash out. Nice balls though.
Foxy! If pet owners start to look like their pets, that lady is certainly the owner of the foxy bat. Reminded me of an episode of X files or, I know - Beastmaster! Might be Beastmaster 2, with the mad people eating foxy-batmen!... anyway. Micro-bat is cute.
I can't believe you didn't drink with the Aussies and miss the chance of calling them, Yew drunken Aussie bastards. They are our distant cousins afterall. You gotta love them.
Great barrier reef Sounds great, I was looking forward to reading about the Great Barrier Reef. Gorgeous sea, nice colour. Ah, to be Australia in the Spring!
At home, leaves are falling and spiders are coming indoors. Big horrible mutants. Three evictions last night, that's three too many spiders. Vicious too, proper Chadsmoorian.
You talking to me?! I was wafting through the coral the other day when some great big lout in a rubber suit tried to hurry me along by swatting the water. The audacity of these humans is unbelievable! I turned around and gave him my best stare. He looked spooked to me, that'll teach him not to mess with a Tiger fish...
Venom What a nice picture of me on the horse. So spiders are firmly in your mind and the beer is rubbish lager. So what are you doing in OZ then when there's mild in the Blewitt. Then again I'm back at work with the little buggers. Keep having fun.
Well worth the drab pool!! So just what you took all those diving lessons for eh? This looks brilliant and looks like your dream come true. All of those diving lessons and finally you get to do the ultimate dive!! The pictures are amazing. Better than any you could've taken in the practice pool back here!
Really enjoyong catching up with you - well done for keeping up the blogging - I think I'd be far too distracted to remember to write it up.
Keep up the frugality - it will get you far!!
Keep living the dream .
Lots of Love Rach xx
Shark! Well I suppose everything in the deep is a little small fish compared to S.Africa, you know you can get S.water crocs in the shallower parts? Those clams have turned me on a little, oops, sorry. Glad you are enjoying Oz, it is very backpack orientated but it can be as good as it is bad. I Know it's touristy chaps, but if you can spare the dollar in Sydney,(u goin there?), go up the tower for a meal in the revolving restaurant and have a few beers through your meal, it's the reverse of de ja vu when you come out of the toilet. plus they do Kangaroo, Emu and Croc. The food is good to!
We are both taking a career break to travel the world before we finally settle down and get married in July 2008. We are overlanding through Africa, jungle trekking in Borneo, diving around Australia, campervanning across New Zealand, chilling in Fiji, stopping by L.A. and Texas on route to cruising around the Galapagos and trekking through Peru. Stay in touch with us throughout our journey via the blog, e-mail or text. We look forward to seeing everyone when we get back for Christmas!... full info
