A beautiful day. Dad and Tim went kayaking in our little orange kayak, before the lot of us headed over to the little beach where we tied up the nautilus and scrambled over logs and rocks to get to the trail. This trail takes us through the forest before opening out onto a lush green and gold field, which then gives way to an orchard, with some rather decrepid looking apple, pear, and plum trees, none of which were ripe while we were there. There's a homestead just by the orchard, overlooking Home Bay. The house sits there on the slope, grey, rugged, and broken; a memory. We sat there on the dry grass, making animal calls with reeds of grass and sipping our Becks, which weren't quite as cool as we would have hoped. We
