Lovely stuff - I can see why you love diving so much, I do just looking at the pictures - though I can imagine it's even more vivid when you're actually there!

Hi Dirk, I was staying on Had Yao beach at "Sandy Bay". There is also a more lively resort at the end of the beach with it's own swimming pool for guests - but I'm guessing that it costs quite a bit more. Have a look at http://www.phangan.info/sandybay for some more pictures of where we stayed.

Yeah, it's called "Thong Bay Guesthouse". It's a little out of town but you can rent bikes for 1 USD a day and everything is within easy cycling distance.
