Hey there little lady Lots of love to you from Brooklyn - I spent the morning reading your guide. Marvelous adventures! (with the exception of the pickpocketing, but hey, it happens to the best of us) Enjoy the next few days!!!
Gawd! Everybody knows that a 'taciturn...' ...is one of those whirligig things you gotta go through to get into concerts or grocery stores in Turkey. Geez.
Just kidding.
YAY! I knew you would love it! I wish I could see you there, but I'm having fun picturing you on the banks of the Seine! And yes, Fromagerie IS a word! and YES, dried goat cheese is SOOOOOO good!!
Have fun lady, be safe and ENJOY! You deserve this adventure!!!
Can't wait Hey Lady! I'm excited for your trip! How are you feeling? Ready? Still need any help with Paris? Are you staying the night? I have a friend their now!!! Let me know!
Love ya! Lisa
Ha! I love that! Thanks Casey! Did you know that a fishmonger is someone who sells fish? Okay, so that makes "mong" a verb, just like "fetter." To fetter, by the way, is to restrain, or tether. And, well, George W.'s special little brand of evil is anything but restrained.
My, what a good question! Well, now. We do like to get to the point, don't we? I can't say I really know the answer there, but I'm guessing that it might have something to do with all the money and attention my "government" is directing towards destroying the lives of countless other poor souls across the globe. It's a matter of simple economics: if you spend all your money on booze, you got no bucks to feed the kids. Plus, these "kids" in question happened to be the poorest (and almost not-whitest) in our country, so The Man isn't interested.
unfettered evil how do you fetter evil?
never mind.
i didn't know you were in europe! while you're in france you should check out the city of amboise.. i'm not sure how to get there, but the chateau is really nice!
"As for what motivated me, it is quite simple: I would hope that in the eyes of some people it might be sufficient in itself. It was curiosity - the only kind of curiosity in any case, that is work acting upon with a degree of obstinacy: not the curiosity that seems to assimilate what is proper for one to know, but that which enables one to get free of onself. After all, what would be the value of the passion for knowledge if it resulted only in a certain amount of knowledgeableness and not, in one way or another and to the extent possible, in the knower's straying afield of himself?" -M.
