Hey there little lady
Lots of love to you from Brooklyn - I spent the morning reading your guide. Marvelous adventures! (with the exception of the pickpocketing, but hey, it happens to the best of us) Enjoy the next few days!!!

Gawd! Everybody knows that a 'taciturn...'
...is one of those whirligig things you gotta go through to get into concerts or grocery stores in Turkey. Geez. Just kidding.

Tripe
Humans shouldn't eat tripe. Try not to start another set of riots. Happy travels, and thanks for the update.

Ha!
I love that! Thanks Casey! Did you know that a fishmonger is someone who sells fish? Okay, so that makes "mong" a verb, just like "fetter." To fetter, by the way, is to restrain, or tether. And, well, George W.'s special little brand of evil is anything but restrained.

My, what a good question!
Well, now. We do like to get to the point, don't we? I can't say I really know the answer there, but I'm guessing that it might have something to do with all the money and attention my "government" is directing towards destroying the lives of countless other poor souls across the globe. It's a matter of simple economics: if you spend all your money on booze, you got no bucks to feed the kids. Plus, these "kids" in question happened to be the poorest (and almost not-whitest) in our country, so The Man isn't interested.
