Keep On Truckin' Thanks for including me on your blog -- I enjoyed reading about your travels. Lauren, please let me know what's next for you, espcially any news about medical school.
Hi to sis and the family . . .
Hi Jake and Lauren...we've been spoiled with all the pictures and miss those from Paris! You've definitely got our curiousity up with your "tale for home" story!!!! Take care and enjoy each and every moment...hope for you that it goes slow but we do look forward to seeeing you!
Hanging House So my first reply to your blog was Kapital done by you on the first of April recieved here April 15. Your next blog is dated April 4th and about hanging house and received on April15th. Just to let you know there is a little time delay. Ok, so now you are packing your bags and leaving for France. Cuenca sounds like a very interest town to explore, up hill and down hill is a real work out. Awaiting your next blog and hope I can keep up.
Capital Time Your exploring a very nice part of the "Old World" with alot of charme and excitement, appears that you have found some real exciting places. Got your picture post card from Kenya that appears to have arrived in a record time. Great that you had a rewarding experiences on safari,,,, you were just about to leave on safari for an area to witness the snow of Kilimanjaro. Glad that you got some good rest before heading out on the town and dancing at the Museo de Jamon. Hope you are having more sea food in Spain, their Piala is exdordinary, huge bowl of rice with assorted sea food and of course flavored with safflower - bring safflower home extremely expensive here - essential for chapino.
Enjoyed your earlier writings on the blog. Keep having fun and always stay safe.
Gratitude Lauren and Jake, I am enjoying your blogs immensely and am excited when I see the email that a new entry has been made. It sounds like you are both leaving your footprints in Africa and as always making the world a better place. I remember when I came home from Sri Lanka years ago thinking that I was so grateful for all I had and I would never complain again. Well, we know how that turned out. But, your tales are a reminder of how good we have it here and how lucky we were born in America and not in a remote village. Keep your posts coming and enjoy the "Party" cities. Love, Momma Sims
My vote Jake I liked your sunset the best! sorry Lauren. So happy for both of you that you were able to take such a wonderful and memorable trip. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Hi Jake! Jake,
I've been following your updates, and I am so glad you made the decision to leave Masailand early. How scary, and yet how rewarding at the same time. Doesn't it just make you that much more thankful for home?
Be safe, and continue updating. I love reading all about your adventures!
Amazing Equal parts amazement and pride. Thank you for sharing and allowing us to vicariously live this adventure with you. Lions, hippos, rhinos...are you kidding me? Are you sure the two of aren't holed up in some swanky hotel watching reruns of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom? (OK....that's an ancient reference). I love your open mindedness and sense of wonder; It's translated beautifully in your blog and I'm sure the locals are "reading" it too. I love you guys! Be safe. Jake, snorkel when you have the chance.

P.S. Wicked was amazing!! Thank you!
How exciting "You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
Know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done"
Hope you guys are being safe. Sounds like you are having a blast seeing the world. Cant wait to see more pictures.
