reminds me of someone... Two confirmed bachelors sat talking, their conversation drifted from politics to cooking. “I got a cookbook once,” said one, “but I could never do anything with it.” “Too much fancy work in it, eh?” asked the other. “You said it. Feet Looks like you are wearing sandals? Hope your feet and all the rest are feeling good. I can only imagine what all the sights and smells and sounds are like. The Taj Mahal is next. I have my Paul Horn cd on right now. Wonder how many times R Zimmerman has been there?

Good food and PK Gees, what a life. Good Indian food and PK too. Looks like you have a nice group of companions. There seem to be a never ending array of castles and cows. How cool is that? The weather here now is in the 60s! 2 weeks ago we had a blizzard. This is too much like Milwaukee. I don't think I like this climate anymore.
Looks like you are getting lots of exercise. And your pics are great. Keep sending pics of you and your group too. You snake charmer you...

Food Save some palak paneer for me. And maybe some puri too. The weather here is turning nice finally. In the 50's and sunny. Unfortunately working everyday. Had our big 10th year anniversary dinner last night. Catered dinner. Was very nice. I think I need a vacation. Or at least a couple days off. I am just going to have to enjoy your vacation. Have fun for me too!
Hi from Shiela Enjoying your blog immensely. Pix are great. Sounds like you are having super time. Enjoy.
Finally getting decent weather here... supposed to be in the 60's today.

You and the birds Hey, what a busy schedule. Nice to see that smile on your face with all the birds (pigeons). I talked to my Indian friend at work tonight and told her about your trip so far. She smiled and also told me about the Delhi traffic. It's nice to see you in the pics. Make sure you have more of those in your blog. Having you in the pics makes it seem more real. Have a blast. Enjoy!
Thanks for the great pix! Sounds like you are off to a good start.
Looks like you had good access to the Internet in Delhi and were able to upload the pix. Will be interesting to see if it is just as easy in other places.
A picture that would be fun to see would be one of your entire tour group. There will certainly be opportunities for that.
How has the food been? Lots of good biriyanis, koftas, paneers, curries, chutneys? Or perhaps you don't have much time to think about food?
Look forward to more lively blogging and pix...
Namaste!

Met any swamis or rishis yet?
Yippie Glad you made it safe and sound. Looks like things are going well and the pictures are wonderful. You're good at this.
I got a gift yesterday from my HR manager from Cambodia. A beautiful bag with an elephant on it! Hmm... Must mean something. Maybe I need that Ganesh statue soon! I look forward to your continued trip. Have a wonderful time. I can feel you smiling all the way back here.

wonderful and safe trip And your off..... Have a wonderful time. Enjoy the home of MMY and GD. I am sure this is going to be a fun experience and it may be more meaningful than you realize. I can't even imagine what warm weather would feel like after all these months of snow and cold. Please take lots of pics. You know I think your a great photographer. What ever happened to the pic of the berries in the snow? I loved that one. Well, stay happy and healthy. Don't pick up any dancing girls and don't drink the water!!!!
We Are Also With You! Hi John,
Don't forget: You have a couple more virtual people on the trip with you. We will be enjoying your trip vicariously!
We will enjoy the great adventure with you!

number 6 Another fellow traveler just checked into the blog. Male, age 57 from Vancouver, Canada. It looks like there will be a total of 10 on the tour. So far, 6 are men and 5 are 50 something. Looks like a lot of guys my age had the same idea.
