come home! i have just been reading your blog.. ihave done my best not to over the past months for fear of becoming a jelous wreck! every single place sounds beyond dreamy.. and bloody hell how much have you packed in!!!!
however in short i am looking forward to seeing you back in the good old smoke!
a few night out are definatly in order!!
big circle in our diary around december the 6th!!!! cant wait to see you!!! will even let you talk about the hols!!!! he he
Peru Hi Iona
pity you couldn't enjoy the Nazca lines...they are incredicble. You should not have eaten Peruanian chocolate before flying! And I agree, Huachachina oasis is a must-see for anyone who travels to Peru. Amazing!
Enjoy Ecuador!
'Los pantalones azules' Hi Iona, I see you're still wearing those blue trousers (thats what the title means!) they must be wearing thin now. Watch out for those latinos and if they hassle you just tell them 'Soy en realidad un hombre', that means 'I'm actually a man!!' That should put them off. xx
Hi Iona! It has only taken 3 months for Oli to give me your blog address! Just wanted to say I have really enjoyed reading it. I love your pics too! (well done for getting Oli to look normal in a photo!) It sounds like you are having a wicked time and I cant wait to hear all about it when you get back to not-so-sunny UK! x
I only just discovered your blog! I'm rolling on the floor clutching my tummy!! Hilarious! I can imagine just how you felt. I'm sorry I've only just discovered you have a blog, I'm reading it all now. Only 8 more days of work left for me and I'll be off to Nepal for my trek - whoooohoooo! I'll be in Perth Australia from 6-18Dec - will you be in Oz then?
Maybe you could do a report on your travels for the Northern Times, 'ex High School pupil braves the jungle, snakes, mosquitos, bungy jumps, mad room mates and pyroclastic flows'. It would liven things up.
The aerial view of the Andes is great.
Hello girlie, You sound like you are having so much fun. Your blog is so funny - you should really try and get a travel column in Cosmo when you get back. I'm counting down the days until I'm sunning myself in Phuket...I so need a holiday.
Take care,
Faye

sheep dogs Dad and Billy are very upset at you putting their dogs in disrepute, there are no dogs as good as Bess and Lass! Did you hide the Tim Tams for your own personal use?
Excellent holiday! Yeah, that does definately sum up the holiday well. I had such a great time. Shame had to come back. I hope your short stay on the south island goes well, take some photos! Not long till the tour of South America, will be monitoring the blog! Ps - don't remember you giving me any Tim Tam biscuits? Love campervan man x
I'm so jealous I nearly cried when I saw the photo of Whitehaven beach! The sand is like talcum powder isn't it? Brings back so many good memories. Glad you're having a ball doll! x
marmite Have you not found the famous Aussie vegemite? I finished your squeezy Marmite and it was very good!
I am now even more desperate to visit Queensland
Remember the fat bloke? Remember that fat bloke in China who said he was from Wick? Called us 'tourists'?!!!! I think he was right considering that photo of you two in the posh gaff! But hey, i'd rather be a tourist any day. I spent too long with cock roaches sharing my bed, i'd much rather a flower!!
matching ear muffs! matching ear muffs to go with your shirt! Nice touch! Is that your hair-band around the end of the barrel? Hope your having a good time.x
Only one each? Can't believe that you get a cake stand EACH!! Am sitting here on a Sunday night wading through boring work stuff and remembered your email. It feels like you've been gone forever....and the amount of land, sea and air you've managed to travel so far is staggering. Needless to say you're much better off eating cake (altho Toshi still keeps us in treats), climbing rocks (you nutter!) and dare I say it even experiencing the Bangkok sewage tour than worrying about AP07! Take care. ~ E
tea and cakes! That is a nice load of cakes you have there. Three tiers! Did you manage to steal any of the fancy cutlery! Hope your next tour is good. Look forward to hearing your news soon from Vietnam (I think). Olly x
Still looking stylish girl Hi Iona,
Been reading your blog with interest - wish I was with you (although not the train part I have to admit). In all your photos you ook as stylish and groomed as ever and so not like the usual backpacker - do you ever look rough????
Take care,
Faye
