The End. Hello, I just realised I didn't send a comment about the blog page that was most relevant to me! Thanks for the amusing account of your time in Sydney...my memories are slightly different - although not the bit about you two emerging from the bathroom after I had been chased by a gigantic spider. It does look good in that pic - even without the pound coin. I was a little disappointed that none of my delicious BBQs made it to the best meal list.
Did your bags ever turn up by the way?
Anyway, thanks for the blogs, they were really great and I hope that you've done the book thing as planned! I am still jealous of the amazing adventures you had and hope that I get to do the same one day.
And now it's all about the new adventure, I can't wait to see you again in August for the next chapter.
Love Em x
We were just there! We were just at Club Tapiz and Clos de Chacras. Very nice! Although we didn't stay at Club Tapiz this time, it's likely that we will consider it for the future.
It was fun to read about your (mis) adventures!

missing them already Hello....you've been back less than a fortnight and I am already missing the blogs, Lizzie is back in work mode, Nath is resisting but adapting in true Ray Meers style to the real world and the rest of us are facing monday mornings without the cheerful distraction of the blog.....we shall miss it ...
.................................can't we have wedding blog?
TOP SPOT More than happy for Stephanie to retain her top spot and wish her all the best for her run on Sunday (dare I guess that must be the London Marathon?) If only I had the energy myself - 6k is my absolute limit. I'll be watching it from the comfort of my sofa. Over and out.
We may have to change the order ... .... that is clearly the best comment we have ever had ... we may need to move you to the top! We're not sure that SJB has that kind of literary expertise in her repertoire!
Thanks so much Angela,
Nathan and Liz x
BLOG OFF BLOG OFF
You’ve kept us amused,
With tales - not all true,
And places you travelled afar.
Of flights, smooth and lumpy,
Folks jolly and grumpy,
And many a welcoming bar.
We’ve shaken with fear,
Enjoyed every beer,
And marvelled your exotic tour.
You’ve had us all gripping
The edge of our seats,
With pumas and spiders and more.
Romance in the air,
A ring you did share.
A Mills & Boon story no less.
We reached for a tissue,
To toast you and fête you,
A chapter we’d never have guessed (?)
So now you are back,
And needing a mack,
Not suncream, sombrero or shorts.
We’ll miss your blog landing,
It’s pictures and ramblings,
So thanks from a poet of sorts.

...the end ...and so as with all good things - the end has sadly come. So glad you factored into your travel plans an intention to keep us all so well updated with your adventures. A simple postcard would have done, but oh no- you've certainly succeeded in raising the bar when it comes to holiday homebound communication. Id say based on the average holiday of about say 10 days you have ironically spent the best part of an average mans holiday (whilst you should have been enjoying your own) sat at a desk behind a computer updating us on your travels. Very honourable. Thanks again for the thrills n spills, the lies n laughs, the pics n quips, the sunburn n suntan, the over eating, the crash diets, the education, the explosion, the proposal, the dodgy look-a-likes, the list goes on. RIP Inca Nath - Welcome back to the real world.
Congratulations, we love your style! I was so happy at the news that its taken me this long to put my joy into words! Having been there, or to Moorea at least, I knew you guys wouldnt be able to miss the romance. Great work and hard to beat it...tough work picking a honeymoon destination now! Leo loved the photos, particularly the cockeral and baguette which he tried to bite...yes he now has a tooth and is proud of it!
We are so enjoying your blog stories, it certainly beats goldilocks and the 3 bears. I hope your imagination keeps running even when you are back in newcastle or the likes. Enjoy oz.
CONGRATULATIONS hey dudes .. super congrats from the Codo clan ... what a cracking place to drop to your knee smith ..!!! if you had waited any longer i'm sure knee supports would have been involved ....
lots of love CLL xxx
Congratulations from us too on your engagement Lizzy and Nathan - Very glad to hear you've pledged your troth. Couldn't have happened to a nicer couple. All the best for the future. We're still living off the memories of our two month holiday in South America. I think we told you that after we left you in El Calafate, Stuart got pickpocketed in the Buenos Aires underground. But he felt the pickpocket and got the wallet back from his slimy fingers. Gave the guy a punch to the jaw which we were told by friends in Buenos Aires was a very dangerous thing to do. He might have knifed Stuart. Still it was satisfying.
a wonderful trips....a wonderful trips !!! you know ....but a wondeful trips guys i cant believe how bored you had been these days !! jajaja.. for sure not !! i really impressed with you guys :).. keepp enyoining those days whereever you are know!! i will be in shock the next time seeing where you are..

eduardo
nath you never asked my permission.... nath as freaky twin of Betsy i have always stated that just like Mr T i needed to be consulted on the whole 'giving away' deal...
... despite the romance of the whole thing and the cheif bridesmaid sweetner i am still not sure whether i can fully let her go.... do you mind if we share her? you get the added bonus of being my bro which means i get to bully you, fight you, pick on you and generally side with Rachie on everything - that sounds fair doesn't it?
PS Nath still looking a bit pasty whereas Lizzy you are positively so brown that it looks fake - so jealous!
"You put zee cock on zee pitch" Greetings Inca adventurers...... who'd have thought that the the dulcet tones of one Maxamilien de Dieuleveult would have been useful on your hollies in the south pacific (apart from anyone owning an atlas...... or an internet). Did you regale the locals with stories of La Rochelle from your Tricolore text book? Congratulations on the engagement. Terribly romantic. Good work. We're just starting to think about heading back to blighty too - see you for Wave 2b BPT in the summer, then. PS. I know a bloke in San Francisco who does a decent line in cubic zirconia.....
congratulations congratulations to you both what a way to get engaged very romantic dad's started his speech and mum is looking for a hat look forward to seeing you lots of love
...Mika anyone? Tremendous news!
Wow, I now realise why it’s taken 75 days or should I say the best part of 9 years and 75 days to get down on one knee and hit Lizzy with the big question Nath. It sounds like a scene out of one of those Rom Com’s Sara likes to lure me into watching on a Sunday night (usually by saying it’s got such and such a good looking woman in it! gets me every time) how ‘romantic’ Smith. did I just say that? ...it brings a tear to my eye.
This place sounds incredible. Don’t get any ideas Sara (not just about the proposal but more importantly the holiday location!!) as Nathan clearly pointed out in paragraph 4 day 67 Bridlington is comparable fancy getting away this weekend?
Can’t wait for wedding playlist guys! Mika anyone?
fantastic news! Brilliant news you gorgeous people! Can't wait to celebrate on your return - a little worried ou may have exhausted the choices for honeymoon?!
PS. Should I be concerned the sunday times supplement seems to have been just as exciting?!
Lots of Easter Eggs Wow, just a few of those stone people thingys then. Very impressive pics again - particularly the surfing one, make sure you bring your surfboard to Oz I'm keen to see you in action! Are you still eating Easter eggs everyday or just while you were on Easter Island...and were you really eating all those Easter eggs? It's very impressive how you had an Easter Egg to match the type of day you had everyday. And your bag just must have been full of Easter eggs if you took them all with you. And weren't they all melted and broken? Hmmm....Easter Eggs. You'll be sick of them I'm thinking Lizzy, I won't get you one for actual Easter then. Just proper eggs. Coz you like them so much.
Anyway I'm rambling.
Can't wait to see you and I'm desperately hoping the weather holds out.
See you in 6 sleeps
xx
nice work travelling vagabonds .. all looks too too good !!! Smithy looks like you found a miracle cure for baldness .. please bring it back !! .. Tony, shut yer face !!
We are going skiing this weekend so will be thinking of you when stuck on chairlifts (as it stands today a full 46 degree differential to your climate) .... mmm... nice no ?!
Ask about the MAHU in Polynesia .........ciaooooooo
Nathan and Lizzy ... we are disspointed to see that you feel this way. We had a good time meeting you guys and just wanted to share our superior experiences with you both and help point you in the right direction (particularly in the photographic department).
Nathan i am also upset you didn't take me to the crater that day ..i could have really shown you some sights !!!
TODAY'S EASTER EGG Today's Easter egg for me was a Thornton's Easter Egg (British Thornton's the school furniture people I work for, sadly not the chocolate giants). Why am I flogging away at sales stats, spread sheets, press releases day in day out, when you're having such a fabulous time? Maybe I need the luck of the Moai to whisk me off over the sea and far away...
In your dreams Mrs C...
Nathan never considered himself a "traveller" in the "traditional" sense (i.e. one pair of pants and a dollar per day spending money). He´s more or a tourist - "Johnny English" if you will. So when Lizzy suggested going to South America for 3 months - after 8 years of professional life there was an immediate culture clash...... full info
