Hey Jen Congrats on your upcoming wedding. I am so happy for you. Married life is so wonderful! My husband and I are praying about coming to Kenya this year. Not sure when but I know God has a plan for us over there. Thank you for posting the pictures and blogging. I love reading about what is going on and how God is moving. We pray for all of you all of the time and I know God is faithful to His word and He will take care of all of you. What a great plan God has given you to help people with growing crops and feeding the hungry. I know you will find the right land and it will be GOOD GROUND in Jesus name. Take care and please tell everyone at IAA I love them and miss them so much.

Amazing! Thank you Jen for posting the photos! I do miss you all dearly and am amazed to see how happy and strong all the children look. They are truly blessed and shine God's love. Just as Len wrote, I have wonderful memories of my time with you all last year. Love and prayers to everyone at IAA.
Our kids have grown soooo much this year! Hi Jen - Thanks so very much for posting the new pictures of our precious children on your site. It brought back so many wonderful memories and my eyes are full of tears as I write this. I adored being with the kids and love them so very much.
I can't believe how big they have all gotten this past year. Solomon and Ruthie are not babies any more! I bet they are really talking now!
I miss each and every one of the children so very much and I pray for them so very often. I also pray that they don't forget their "Aunt-TEEeeEE".
Please give each and every one of them my deepest love and tell them I miss them with all my heart. I still have all of my wonderful letters and beautiful pictures they colored and drew for me. These are some of my most cherished possessions.
I send much love to all the staff at IAA, too. They are missed and believe it or not, I even miss MOST of the food!! ;) I could really go for some of Ann's delicious kale right now!
Thank you again for opening your home and heart to me and taking such great care of me while in the hospital. I don’t know what I would have done without you, Johnny and Linda. Can you believe it’s been a whole year this month? I am MUCH better, but still not well.
I pray for God’s sweetest blessings to come to you all.
Much hugs and love Auntie Len (Giacchi)

growing up Oh my, I write this with tears streaming down my face...these children whom I have loved since the first time I laid my eyes on, have grown up so much that I hardly recognize them. Please give them my love...and I will send a check for two months with hope and prayer to send more later.
fuata nyayo school I have a school in Fuata Nyayo called Bright Star School. I'm going to visit the school in 2 weeks and would like to visit FUNOWi. Let me know if that's possible.
Thankful! I am thankful to God and Jennifer for all the love and compashion Jen is able to give to all the hurting people. You are blessed and you are a blessing. I love you. Mom 9-19-08
Vickie God bless you for being such wonderful servant! You are always keeping us informed and up to date as to what is going on. My husband and I are looking forward to seeing you again and we would like to help. You are amazing and I thank God for bringing you into my life.
Vickie
WE LOVE YOU I have seen a miracle in you and hope that God will make us achieve greater heights. Am sorry that Flomina has given you the worst experience and remember it will through God's power give you the greatest achievement.
Amazing! Hi Big Jen!! I just wanted to say how much I really enjoy reading your stories every month. You truly are amazing in everything you do for these children! Keep safe and I look forward to seeing you when you return to the states. All my love - Jenny
Flomina Pictures Having experienced Flomina first hand, it is hard to imagine how it could be more difficult, but I see from your description to FUNOWI definitely sounds dire and lifeless. At least there is a small glimmer of hope for these children in the life of Zubeda.
I've posted my pictures from Flomina at http://picasaweb.google.com/kithril/Flomina/ if you want to see more of that place. I wish I had been able to make a recording of "Remember Me Kenya", a beautiful song that the orphans sang asking Kenya to remember her widows and orphans.
If you are able to help these awesome people who have dedicated their lives to working with these kids, please do so.
Hi Jen,
So good to hear from you by this blog!
You are still working verry hard (like we do here)
Do we meet again once?...............
I need to send you "Ciau Jennie, te iubesc mult, si te astept cu nerabdare!" from your little girl who has already 15!!! years! Can you believe???
She is going to highschool in september. Next year she want's to try again to enter the millitary academy in Alba Iulia.
Love you
anna
Torn I have rarely seen Jen not smile after a visit to a new site or venture. This woman was not herself after visiting Fuata Nyayo.
Clearly the effect of what she had seen made a huge impact on her and she was torn about what she could do.
These people need our help, lets do what we can folks.
