will we see you when you come through FF? This is very descriptive writing, are you planning to 'write something' to publish? I have to admit to having to look up 'bivouacked', not ever having seen the word. Perhaps it's just because camp/backpack around the world, anyway I enjoyed the entry, thanks for sharing, all the best, Debs
running with Israeli's hum, sounds nearly as good as cooking lagsana in Everybody's kitchen yesterday, cleanliness is not next to Godliness there...
on another note Zavit, my new Israeli roommate enjoyed the company and Hebrew, on my back deck last night, with Heleni, Judy and Diane, we all laughed, at least Heleni and I, at seeing your movie on Utube from yester-year with Grego et al. Good travels, Debs
davey's got it right this time Yup, Piaci's is the bomb, the beer is strong, the hippies and beggars and street hoodlums here are legendary, and as you so eloquently put it, so are the hikes and the forests and the empty beaches. Hope you go to the sand-dunes, hot springs, and horseback riding on the beach next time you come through.
are you going to visit Andrew? you're becoming a really good writer Davey, with some editing and additional stories you might have a good couch surfing book........
here it was four cooking in the kitchen Andrew spinning the tunes, me, Phil and Rose , and later Timmy, cooking up a whirlwind of tastes, delights winning experiments and then we all sat together at the new from thrft store table and chair, contently eating and talking with only the best of T day's behind us, in us and ahead of us. Phuil and I stayed an extra day, the sauna, hot tub and living in th moment was too lovely to resist.......
Wish I was there! Hi Davey and Helenee!!
It looks like so much fun. I wish I was there too! I'm having lunch with your mom and Stan tomorrow. Loved the pictures.
Love, Diane

Hi! Hi Davey!
I hope you're enyoying the Dingle Peninsula, thou you didn't sound so positive in your message... It's a real nice and special place within Ireland!
How is the organic farming going?
I live on the peninsula to, i live in annascaul (between Dingle and Tralee), just 15 km outside of Dingle. My boyfriend and I moved here in march 2006 from Holland. We like it it very much over here, the easy way of life and all, and although it is expensive in the pubs, you should really go more often, it is fun ;)
Good luck in Ireland and where ever you go next (or don't you have any plans yet?)!
Greetings, Jessica
ps: it is really dark round here, like you said on your picture's, and cold these days too...
ps2: we have our own website about moving to ireland, but it is dutch, so i don't think you can understand it very well... www.naarierland.nl Where are you from anyway?
bleaker than bleak oh Davey this will be something to remember, or forget, once it's all over. i hope you find some generous Irish soon to make this all worth while and drinks all round on the house, esp. pint size. After you come back do watch the King of Hearts and One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest back to back with Grego...........I'm in sunny Boulder Co, well over cast today, but will go see and listen to Joan Baez sing some Irish songs tonighrt and I'll pray dampness doesn't sepp under your skin..love Debs
thanks Hey Davey, I'm really enjoying your writings, you have a style of your own and a book in the making.......though it's your adventures in Dingle I really look forward to, and if it's beer you like Ireland will be the place! All the best, Mom of Grego
sluggin it davey , why r u so funny? good answer.. s0o before and after a run ,sitting down with your legs straight...flex your feet towards your head and alternately away from u. each for 10 seconds and repeat a few times . i always knew achilles was stupid until i found out he was brad pitt. LOL. cant wait to see u in one of the hemispheres. figure i have 50% chance of being in the right one
Forgot to tell you about garden slugs here. Julie had some eating her plants and was told by experts (the Pollaks) that they like beer. So she left them some in a plastic container and sure enough there are now some fat drunk slugs floating in it after leaving it out one night. Yeuch, I say. do you think Tibetan slugs are lushes too?
hey Davey, you sound like the sort of kid who will come back and say FF ain't so bad to live in with all the choices of yoga classes here, just joking..........I'm enjoying the updates........I'm moving Gregory's stuff into his new 'solo' apt this weekend in IC
