We arrived in Ko Tao after a 8h Trip with Bus and Ferry. On the Harbour catching a Longtail Boot and heading to a nice Bungalows Resort. Checking out the Area. - The "Beach" was quiet - A nice Bar - looking like a Pirate ship - Bungalow 9 Euro with a awesome Sunset on the Balkony - Nice food from Mrs. Yung - lots of Stuff you can buy to upgrade your Chillout Experience :) The only bad thing is, it's to hot in the night. It's hard to sleep. Quotation from Rene (a Dutch Guy we met there): that's a boomerang place. you leave but you come back. AND THAT'S FUCKING RIGHT !!!! Asia » Laos » West » Vang Vieng January 31st 2010

The Landscapes around are very nice, but nobody know that. The most people coming to Vang Vieng to getting drunk and have some smokes. No Respect opposites the Locals (the girls walking on the street with Bikinis etc.). That's sucks !!! I kill my time with Trekking. The Problem is nobody want to go trekking, because of that the Trekking Trips for one Person is very expensive. But i had talked with a local and his brother guided me for one day through the jungle. The Trip was very nice. After Vang Vieng we must go back to Luang Prabang to fly to Bangkok (the Lao Visa was running out).... read more

Asia January 17th 2010

After the two Days we catch the Bus to Lao. The Ride was awesome. The Jungle Streets, the Jungle itself and we right in the middle of it. But when you travelling like this you must learn to wait. The Bus stops very often about Construction Sites or pick up other people. After the Bus drive we checked in a little Guesthouse directly on the river and hang around for 2 days. The Food was good and the Cigarettes were very cheap (30 Euro Cent :)).... read more
