So Rotorua is known to the locals a Rotovagas as it's pretty much a play ground amongst the sulphur and mud pools in this thermal environment. The weather was still a bit hit and miss so in between the torrential rain we popped out and had a look at some of the active spots in the local park, soaked our feet in some sulphur pools and managed to hold our breath long enough to stand the eggy fart smell for some pictures! Jo's friends from home Adam and Hannah were waiting to sky dive in Taupo but wanted to join up with us the next day, so we camped out another night.
