Bar Swings?
Bar swings seem like a questionable idea. Are there spitoons nearby? I kind of want to start a fund so you guys can go all over the world and make travel videos, like a partied-out, awesome version of Lonely Planet with more hilarious adventures. People can start sending cheques to me, I'll set it up (aka fly immediately to Guatemala).

Almost to beautiful, and I may or may not be referring to Mike in a skirt
Wow! The ruins almost look black and white and the green grass touched in; very beautiful. And the lava as well, I'm sure you were careful though, right! I'm glad to hear you guys are sharing your musical talent with the locals. I bet they were as impressed as me! The cliff jumping reminds me of a certain Gabriola Island cliff jumping extravaganza minus about 8m though! Love, Meg

Enjoy, enjoy!
Hey! Great pictures and comments! The bathrooms look palatial compared to what you'll find in Guatemala. So...enjoy! What's a bling? Enjoy Antigua and Lake Atitlan; don't swallow any water (per Joseph lol)

One eye on the stash, one on the cash...
Hey Mike and Aden! What an expensive lesson, I bet $100 could have bought you new shorts;-) I'm sorry to hear the Modern Art Museum would have benefited from an insurance fire. I heard Mexico had a ground breaking modern art world. Glad you are safe and healthy!! Merry Christmas! Love, Meg

Giraffe Evolution
Speaking of evolution, or giraffes, or something anyway, the story that the giraffes got their long necks from eating acacia leaves was investigated by some PhD dude to see if it actually held water. Surprise: it does not hold any water at all. There are good reasons why it can't be true that have to do with how they eat acacias but I can't remember them. The real reason they have long necks is that they engage in some pre-sex ritual combat that involves bashing your opponent with your neck and having a longer one gets you more wins and therefore more giraffe babes. I bet you could spend years in Mexico City and not see it all.

Travelling Is Fun
Your trip is coming to an end so soon! I was looking forward to more enterntaining web journal entries from you. Oh well. Back in Bangkok, drinking with the same folks I was hanging out with in Vang Vieng, Laos, and undergoing further body modifications. I like the story about the American. All the best!

Goodbye Blog?
Hey, Thanks for all the wonderful blog updates! I have been jealous of the sun and heat as my toes are frozen solid as I type, I miss central heating (and internet at home). I will try to carry on the blog tradition. Colin is in charge of the next entry so it will take a while. Merry Christmas. Eat extra tofurkey for me. I just found out our microwave is also an oven, but I`m not brave enough to try cooking meat in it and I don`t bake. Glad your trip was a success! Hugs, Maddy.

Beetles, Brazil
Beetles like that one were made in Brazil until 1996, according to Wikipedia. What are those things Mike is sitting on at the beach?

I can't believe you can just buy dynamite! Sounds like heaven to me. And going down a real working mine? Wow. Now that you mention it, I can't remember ever taking you horse-riding. Too bad, I wish I had.
