OK, raise your hand if you read my third New Zealand posting about hiking and the Catlins. Now leave your hand up if you think I was high when I wrote half a page about how beautiful water is. Hmmm, a lot of hands still up. Well, the jokes on you because I wasn’t. No seriously. To be fair, though, would I appreciate nature as much if I didn’t smoke the ganj? No. I do hike without smoking sometimes, but I would sure rather be high. I love the nature anyway, and the process of hiking, and all that other stuff I wrote about, but, boy, smoking just takes it to an entirely different level. I call it the epiphany level. Unfortunately, scoring Mary Jane here is not easy. It’s not that they don’t smoke here.
