Travelling the Baltics
I stumbled across your blog and was delighted at the amount of time you have saved me in research, as I had planned to do exactly your trip but in reverse. Your honesty was refreshing and without prejudice, you wrote clearly and well, your keen observations were exactly the sort of things I was trying to find out. Thank you very much.

Nice article
I really liked what you've said about my city. And as a Tourism Student there are a lot to learn with all the problems you've had. The truth is that Sao Paulo is improving quite well its touristic infraestructure and soon it will be no longer just a pass-by and business only city as its today, and people like you that wanted to know the city and see its sightseeing will have a nicer look of here, I hope you come again. =)

beauty and temperatures
There is great beauty in the photos and I cannot even guess how much more beautiful it must be when one is actually standing there and taking the photos. Also, what are the temperatures there are there any warm temps.? It looks very cold and I wonder if this is summer or winter.

Paraguay Blog
Just followed you virtually through Paraguay and enjoyed your write ups a lot. Having just spent a month in Paraguay very recently, I have been very intrigued to see what other travelers in my demographic think of this very "of the beaten path" destination. Although there are no real attractions to speak of, (except maybe the ruins outside of Encarnation) I came away with a soft spot in my heart for Paraguay. Keep up the great blogs.

The more things change ...
Its so reassuring to read that Paraguay has changed so little from when I was there about .... 20 years ago ... am I really that old??

Safety
Hello: I would love to do the Ciudad Perdida trek as it sounds lovely. Did you feel safe during the trek? What is the current common wisdom about safety from violence and kidnapping while on the trek? Thank you, Vincent

hola!
Like the comment about the local cops directing you to the black market dealers- that nicely sums up my perceptions of the way South America works!

Caracas
Glad to hear you've arrived safely! Sounds like there have been some interesting experiences already and some a little daunting for my liking!! What's the place like that you are staying? How hot is it there? You'll be glad to hear we're now in positve numbers- about 3 or 4 degree highs! I look forward to seeing your future updates. In the meantime have a good time and take care.
