Eulogy for the cars RIP the peugeot, rover and audi!
Sorry it was such a rubbish birthday, but memorable if nothing else and well done Alex for the long walk in the rain.
NZ people are so much nicer than Brits - we were the recipients of several similar acts of kindness.
WOW Wow, you guys have been busy - horse rides and helicopters, my goodness.
It's lovely reading your blog as I can picture it all in my head as we went to most of the places you mention too, although we had much better weather at Fox Glacier but much worse at Mt Cook.
Very good memories... I'm really enjoying your blog, lovely photos and funny anecdotes. Glad you are having fun and keep on with the adventure.
Christmas tree went up yesterday and been doing some card writing and present wrapping so generally feeling very festive.
Love to both xx
Funny stories Love the headline quotes - took me back to being in NZ.
Sounds like a lot of walking, needless to say we didn't do much of that in NZ but it sounds like you are enjoying.
Esme has resolved cat flap issues but seems to prefer toileting in the warmth so litter tray not entirely out of action yet. She's also eating A LOT (3 pouches a day) - is that normal at this time of year or is she comfort eating because she's sad?
Keep blogging x
And they're off Hello
Just read your first couple of blogs, HK sounds like a real assault on the senses.
Hope you have a safe flight to Auckland.
Esme refusing to use the cat flaps!! Cat flap training/coaxing continues - Joe is very, very patient (I'm not).
