I see my path but I don’t know where it leads, not knowing where I am going is what inspires me to travel it.

I’m a smiler by nature, an Event Manager (ahem…student event manager) by trade, traveller by choice, 22 years old and from Northumberland in the UK.

Seeing the world has always been on my mind…and I mean always! First opportunity I had I was off! Chasing the dream with my life on my back

I’m not quite sure where my inspiration to travel came from…but it was whilst I was still at school which gave me my first taster. A lot of fundraising and a few jabs with a needle later and I was off!

This spurred me on to plan my next trip…finished school, worked and saved like a crazy women and dusted off my backpack!

Big thing about me…I have an addiction, I can’t help it and it will never go away, I add to my bucket list constantly and always have a plan to tick off the next thing.

I am so ashamed to admit this but I totally stereotyped the man, from the stories I had been told I thought he was going to steal my bag when I was asleep (needless to say I didn’t sleep too well!). I will raise both hands ... read more
