Home Sick
It's been almost 15 years not seen my family as well as my home town- Lhasa. When I saw you guys' pictures of Tibet, once again it makes me home sick. The pictures look fantastic and hoping I can go back to visit Tibet soon in the future. I live in San Francisco and I am hoping that one day I could come up something that to build a "bridge" between Lhasa and San Francisco. Do you have any idea to support my thought?

HILARIOUS!
So funny! Sorry you had to live through it. This is one of those experiences people don't understand until they've lived there. The smoking pilot had me laughing out loud.

Bad China Flight
Oh Gigi...I am so glad that you made it back to family and safe care and can't wait to hear about your easy pregnancy and healthy baby.Getting out was a smart move.I had a life threatening illness in Shanghai and had to be have me and the whole family med -evaced to the closest place that offered something more than a death sentence(Hong Kong.)But they would still do surgery on me.It was just that they did not have the capability top treat a pulmonary embolism and I would die during surgery .We should write a book on the many things that we have learned and experienced here that just don't make sense. We learned during our first stint in China that flying Chinese airlines is torture at best . Dragon Air is okay if you are flying to Hong Kong. Will you be coming back ?I won't.We will be back in the USA in a few weeks.Even with all the crazy ,pull my hair out stuff that happens here as well as the poor health care situation:I will miss this city.Hopefully a business that I hope to start (if we don't go to IRELAND!!! for an assignment) will bring me back occasionally. If you come back and need special care ;I have a great doctor out of the usual expat system who will take excellent care of you(he even makes house calls.)He has been handling the situation with my PE and disease that came along with it .Let me know if you come back and need a good doc who knows how to work the Chinese system. Good health ,happiness, amd some naps before that sweet baby comes... Love, Ally

mao is not dead
Saludos y felicitaciones.
