London: Bonfire Night (Guy Fawkes), Remembrance Day 2016

a trip by George Liu
From: November 2nd 2016
Until: November 19th 2016

November is not an ideal time to be a tourist in London. The days are short - sunset is around 4:15, and there can be heavy rain storms. However, if one wants to participate in the Guy Fawkes/Bonfire Night celebration or attend the solemn Remembrance Day ceremony or view the somewhat funky Lord Mayor's parade there is no option: visiting in November is required. Because I wanted to be involved with the first two events I visited London from November 3 to 19, 2016. Here is my report.
