Love the pics Hi Gary, school or pod of dolpins is the correct term.
You guys really got to explore and to think we were in this same area just a week before you.
cheers
Jeff
Whinging Poms Gary mate, you're not supposed to tell everyone how good it is out here in Oz. You're supposed to whinge about how bad it is in order to deter everyone else coming out and spoiling our fun!
Keep on having a great time.

It is a lovely sunny Tuesday morning in old Blighty but nevertheless we do wish we were with you and Steph. One week down 4 to go - enjoy enjoy (oh yes the days of being 49 are on the slide now so make the most of it!)

Hi CJ. Nope, we missed out sitting in the huge chair. However, the people I was with would tell you my ego was big enough, so I shouldn't be encouraged to do such things! ;)
Christmas/New Year Thailand As one of the "party" on holiday with Gary I would like to confirm all Gary's comments - it really was as good as his review reads. Our family would certainly like to return one day. If you are thinking of visiting Southern Thailand please please please go to Khao Lak and Koh Kha Khao too if you can. Such a beautiful area with lovely friendly people who need to get their businesses going again be it Tailors, Restaurants, Massages or shop keepers - you will certainly get more than your money's worth.
ps Thanks Gary for being such a good "tour leader". x
withdrawal for you = anticipation for us Hi Gary,
Great Blog. Has certainly whet our appetite for our revisit to Khao Lak. I think a day trip to KKK is now confirmed as well as to the Beluga School for Life. Speak to you "elsewhere" about recommendations for type of goodies to take for the children.
Missing comments? Hi Gary, It's taking a long time to add my comments!
At least you seem to be enjoying Thailand from your comments on KhaoLakLovers! Hope you all had a Great Xmas. Alan
Wife, three kids (F21, M19, F12). Love to travel and do so every Xmas/New Year with a wonderful group of friends we first met on holiday in St. Lucia.
Since then, we have all been away together to Cuba (twice), Dom Rep, Colorado (on a Ranch), Costa Rica and in 2006 we braved the airways of the Far East and ventured to Thailand!
Our latest 'adventure' was just Steph and myself spending a glorious few weeks Down Under. See below....
