Dear Claire,
Thank you for your kindness on reading my travelblog. Sorry for my late respond. I've been busy with work and kinda avoid Internet for a while .
So far, I've enjoyed Dubai. But, I don't have enough time to explore since I've to work 12 hours/day. Even on my off, I couldn't manage myself to roam around. Maybe if I have some spare time. And for sure I'll contact you for advices about Dubai.
Regarding about budget guesthouse around Kuta, there are a lot of options in Legian area especially in Poppies Lane I and Poppies Lane II. But I recommend you Barong Hotel in Poppies Lane II. It's a nice place. Clean, neat, good breakfast, located in one of the most strategic place and the most important thing is it has a free WiFi. Rate is US$30-US$35 during low season.
Hey, stumbled on your blog randomly when researching Bali and had a lil read. I actually live in Dubai and have lived here for 17 years now, hope your enjoying it so far. I was in Bali for July and am planning on going back again next year as i think it is honestly the best place in the world! I was just wondering if you happened to know of any great lil budget guesthouses around Kuta area that you could recommend for me? Also if you need any advice regarding Dubai, Id be happy to help if i can!
I've never been to America. Only see it on TV. But the thing is Dubai only sell the modernity. What about their own tradition? Arab is one of the most exotic culture in the world. Too bad if it only goes to museum.
crazy world outside the USA I am in manaus brazil and a lot of similarities here and no good food to eat, everyone wants to be like the usa but no one knows anything about quality, just high prices, even mcdonald here lost their touch high prices and small portions.
I'm beginning my journey. Well, actually I started it since long long time ago. Unfortunately, there were no Internet, Laptop and digicam at that time. And also I hate to write. Now, I believe it's fine to share some of my journey here. It's cool to read some of other stories. Hope my writing also inspiring others...
ENJOY!!!... full info
