Celestine You did! and it's my favorite book ever and perfect for getting me in a solo-traveling state of mind. I'm trying to find more people to pass it on to. Definitely send me your friends info, regardless. I'd love to hang out with anyone who lives here.
Rednecks and such Mark, Don't let the self proclaimed sophisticated foreigners fool you, I'm sure there are plenty of working class citizens in their country.
Just as closed minded of the non-americans to automiatically prejudge us, right? It's funny how they say we are all bigots, when in fact they perpetuate it..sorry, I'm rambling.......
Celestine Prophecy Call me crazy, but didn't I loan that book to you??? It sounds like you are having an amazing time....glad you are keeping up on the journal. It's a nice break from the normal corporate BS. Take care down there. I have a great friend in Australia...I'll try to get his contact info for your in case you are in a jam. Cheers! xo Robin
Hey Hey Wilson!!!! I'm so happy to hear that your trip is working out so well - I admire your ability to travel "solo" and meet all the people it seems like you've been able to hang out with. Hopefully you're still enjoying yourself and you can keep us updated. Just so you know - the patriots got Randy Moss for next year........it's gonna be a great season!! Miss you babe - Amy:)
Kings Cross I almost got AIDS in Kings Cross! And what really sucked was buying a beer at a strip club for $7 to find out it was non-alcoholic. Go to Bondi.
YES!! Wilson-
I forgot to warn you about Kings Cross. Completely sketchy. By the way, I'm sweltering in my office right now and can't beleive how jealous I am. I can't wait til you get some LB action. If you dont remember what LBs are, think of our last conversation before you left. By the way, wear sunscreen. There is absolutely no ozone layer over Australia, and you WILL burn your tits off.
sorry u had to be in Sydney when it's continually raining. must admit it hasn't rained this long in quite a while. we need it though. well, good luck with the rest of ur trip. i'm starting mine in about a week. i fly to NYC on Fri next week. Yippee!
Joinging back up with the Brits You realize, dear Markles, with comments such as these you've only flamed the Boyatt-fire....You deserve any and all rants that will inevitably ensue. Are you taking TONS of pictures?
good news travelers remorse yesterday...knew it would clear, was going say :Hang in there, its not that exciting back here anyway", but knew you would come out of it....don't forget to check out Zuma Beach..js
My best friend has lived in Atlanta for 26 years..she and I met in kindergarten. I don't see her very often since she moved there and sometimes I worry that the distance will eventually effect our close bond....NEVER HAS,it just gets stronger, and more precious.
Good friends are forever. Leaving is sad, but the reunions are AWESOME!You'll have stories for years to come....what would it be like to leave someplace that you had no friends in? So of course you cried!!!
Have a safe journey...I will be thinking of you. Wish I had a chance to get that hug,but that's okay. (ps say your prayers for Terry...next interview is the 26th...next Thursday afternoon) XO Leslie
Good Luck Hey man glad you were able to make it out yesterday...good times as always...sorry I missed you before you headed back to Lexington, turns out drinking all day can catch up with you, guess I am getting older, go figure...
Anyway I will be checking often and have already added your Blog to my Google Reader so I will be alerted whenever you post...I wish you well and make sure you keep us posted of your whereabouts...take care...
Wasting Time at Work In case you get lost ony you was, Angkor Wat is located at 13°242453N, 103°52203E.

I am now officially chasing the dragon! 3 months of travel around Australia & Asia has done nothing but whet my whistle for another year abroad. Now, hear my adventures from the Whore of the Orient, the Paris of the East, the city that's one great big opium den itself - Shanghai! Will a year in China before heading off to USC Business School finally satiate my wanderlust? or will it just suck me in even further in the quest for a new rush. On this last trip, the world only got bigger for me. The more I've seen, the more I realize there is to see. Stick around and hear my tales.... full info

I've traveled alot and in the past it's been a quick barrier to break down. Definitely a lot different now.
