Today, Bob, Lizzie and I ventured off to the baby elephant orphanage and to feed giraffes the National Park :) Most of the baby elephant orphans in my photos lost their mothers to poachers. A few of the others lost their mothers to natural causes. The primary motive of these poachers is to collect the ivory in elephant's tusks. ... read more

Today some of our group visited the Blessed Generation school in the Ruiru district about 4 km north of Nairobi. This is a school that takes care of orphaned, destitute and abandoned children in Kenya. Currently, the ages of the children range from 15 months to 19 years.
