Oz looks great tho-loving the pics-any wombats yet??They're my favourite animals. Am well impressed with that couch surfing lark-what a good idea. Just realised i'm the first comment-yes! Having Fun!! Don't believe lewis he loves GY really!!! I'm glad you're having a great time. Singapore is nice but really expensive so it is probably better to be ill and save money for OZ. Perth is so cool, I loved it when i went but knowing you two party animals you will prefer Cairns and the East (PARTY) coast. Visit the blue mountains and the nature reserves outside sydney they are amazing and you can still barter for accomodation.
See you soon. CraigXX
Damn it!!! Hey-thought for a second I was going to be one of the smug ones who had written a comment for the last entry....alas, not true-sorry! Must try harder! I said to Caroline the other day how quickly your time has gone-can't believe its September already and you're in Oz-crazy. Can't wait to hear about all those mad aussies-at least the stupidly inflated prices will kind of ease you both back towards our great value country...i mean £1.05 for a litre of petrol, £1.05, yes £1.05!!!! On the up-shot, I won the Big brother sweep stake so can actually afford to fill my petrol tank a quarter of the way full with my £12! Yay! Anyway-hope the sickness has passed and you haven't eaten too much cheese!?Might head into "Pound Crazy" in the market place tomorrow and try out your top haggling phrases my friend. Catch you both later-watch out for all those flaming galares (spelling???) xxx
if i must!! well i guess i'd better take 2 mins to put a comment, seein as it takes me nearly ten minutes to read each instalment! apart form all the sickness you guys are having, sounds like your having a great time. how you adjusting to the civilized world of Oz?lol! have no idea how you managed to cope so long in Asia with all the people coming up to you and trying to sell you stuff, and the constant haggling, and no toilets! miss you ! xxx
Ami & Ruth in Singapore Hello Ami and Ruth
Shame you both had another tummy bug - it sure does spoil things eh? Oooooooh my poor little princess (you know who this is). Hope you enjoyed Singapore a little bit although you spent most of the time speaking to the "white throne". When I went to Raffles when I was attached to the Ghurkas, they would not let me in cos I did not have shoes on, just sandals (posh snobs). Thats where I bought you and Maureen those lovely gemstone bracelets.
It sure was good to hear from you both in Australia. Hope all is well and you have eaten your cheese.
It August Bank Holiday here in UK and we have taken the whole week off. Sunday we are going car booting to get rid of our rubbish and hopefully make some dosh. Might decorate our bedroom and then go off somewhere for a few days. It sure will be nice not having to get up for work and having lazy breakfasts etc.
Grandad sends his love to you Ami. Cannot believe you have been away for 8 months now - are you coming home?
Look after each other as always and look forward to your next blog.
Lots of love from Dad and Maureen xxxx Ga day girlies xxxx

You were so brave to be travelling whilst ill, i just couldn't do it. After all, i am the girl who has to be at home in her own bed when i have a mere headache....vomiting and bottom troubles in public are a nighmare i can only say sends me near to panic attack status. Ami & Ruth's travels Hello Ami and Ruth
Glad to read your latest blog - sounds wonderful. Glad that you are both over the trots !!! Glad I got to speak to you on Saturday before we went off for the weekend - it made my day. Folkestone was good, the weather was sunny and we all just chilled out with lots of booze and food (diet out of the window but back on it this week). I saw Eddie and his girlfriend Katherine and cousin Stephen. We have had squirrels in our loft and the pest control man had to come and put down traps in the garden and in our loft. Caught it and she was shot, not realising that she had babies still in the nest. I had to get them out and the pest control guy had to shot them too - Maureen cried lar lar lout !!!! A builder came on Friday and cementing up the hole where they were getting in. I'm off to watch Arsenal play on Saturday with some mates and looking forward to that - they are playing Portsmouth.
Look after each other and enjoy yourselves in Oz - keep warm !!! Love Dad and Maureen xxxxxx
