| 17th August 2005 Export Quality | Thea: reply - From: Angelique, Boobies and Sunrise over Sea Thea, this is the only way I can respond to your comment, I don't have an eMail address for you. I used a company called Tierra Del Fuego on (Via?)Amazonas in Quito. Yes, I would recommend them. I feel like I got a good deal. Make sure you price the same boat at a couple of places and then push the price down with these guys. They are reliable, there was even a girl to meet me at Quito airport who got me onto the plane, very impressed. |
| 16th August 2005 Thea | The Angelique. - From: Angelique, Boobies and Sunrise over Sea It was most helpful reading your blog in preparation for my upcoming trip to the Galapagos Islands. I've looked into reserving a tour on the Angelique. Would you recommend it? Also, did you use a tour company to arrange your visit? Thanks so much the help! |

| 21st June 2005 Robb | Thanks - From: Angelique, Boobies and Sunrise over Sea I've read over your entire trip over the last two days, thanks for letting me live vicariously through you. I spent a year packing through Oz and South East Asia a few years ago, and can totally relate to the way the universe seems to conspire to ensure things work out for travelers. (Actually I think things like that happen to "normal" people too, but I think travelers are just more aware of what is happening and so can take more advantage of it.) I've been taking Spanish classes lately, and after reading about your adventures I'm ready to take off for South America myself. Hope the rest of your trip is as satisfying. (Looking forward to the next installment!) And thanks again for sharing your story. Robb |

| 18th May 2005 SeņoritaV | - From: 24HR PARTY PPL Hi ~ just wanted to say that I really enjoyed reading about your crazy peruvian party at the hostel! My family is from Peru so believe me - i know how very Peruvian it is to squeeze into the mini vans, go to crazy soccer games, and how much doctors like to hand out tablets. Plus it's alway so much fun meeting, bonding, partying with people at hostels - those memories (or blurr of memories) stick with you forever. Glad you enjoyed it. ~V |

| 17th April 2005 anonymous | Hi Jeff and others on the trail - From: The Golden Path Dear Alex, Thanks for the continuing insights into your trip. You make your own luck in life is what you are learning and it is like finding a parking spot when you go out? - it depends on what time you leave home and that depends on when the universe tells you the time is right. It is in your sense of the world and the collective subconcious based on all the worlds peoples experiences - some call it Synchronicity. You are on a Road less travelled and that is adding to the collective subconcious of the world as you share it with the people you are interacting with and the people you are sahring your travels with. Thanks for taking the time to share Love and be safe Ian and Corrie PS aren't horses great - maybe you will come with me next year on the great cattle roundup as I am looking for a riding mate? Love Dad - Ian & Corrie |

Great to see you playing it by ear as this will bring the greatest surprises. Nothing wrong with cities but smelling the roses or salt or mountains or sweaty bodies on a crowded bus is good too. We are on another remedy for frozen shoulder - herbal patches from New York $$$$- so if you come across an ancient South American remedy send it on. Be safe and well and great to hear the High altitude has not bothered you but I did not think it would as you were Vail trained!!?? 11,000 feet. Keep the water up and you will be right - how is the small pack going with the water Love Dad and Corrie xoxoxooxxoxooxxoxoxoxo - Ian and Corrie |
