I am a retired educator. My dream has been to travel around the world to meet people and to experience various cultures and beliefs. I plan to travel solo for the flexibility to linger awhile where interests draw me. My hope is to stay with local people whenever possible. In 2008, I completed a four month solo travel around the world which took me to Peru, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, India, Nepal, Thailand, Australia, China and Mongolia. Beginning September, 2009, I plan to revisit friends and sites in five countries. I plan to spend a month in Nepal as a guest of a guide I met there last time and his family. It will be during two of the major festivals. I hope to do a month-long celebration of the completion of my SEVENTH decade (October 27) in Nepal and India. Countries I hope to revisit are Hong Kong, Thailand, Nepal, India and Egypt. In addition I am considering visits to Cambodia, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, Spain, Morocco, London and New York. I hope to return in time for Christmas with my family.
