Wonderful Photos & Delightful commentary You two have done a very fine job of taking all these amazing photos. And the descriptions are very well done and most informative. Still we realize you likely haven't had much web access these most recent days. We very much look forward to hearing more 'in person' the many un-explained gaps. Like you seem to have met no more "buskers" or 'costumed beggars' as you describe them. Instead perhaps you've now come across some of the more truly struggling beggars in poverty places. But we trust you are keeping safe and having many added good and happy memories of the host of exotic places and experiences you have had. We're counting the days!
Keep on having fun!!! I love it! two hot blondies, high heels, cute dresses, and huge backpacks!!! you guys look like you're having such fun!!!!
Jill i miss ya!
Ewa, you're Chaco's are great! i swear your feet will love them soon!!!
Croatia I can't wait to hear about Croatia. I hope you like it as it was one of my recommendations along with Lagos!! I sure hope to get to visit Croatia one day!

Lisbon's Hospital Hey roommates!
You were still sleeping when we started our journey to Lagos, so how did you like the club? Had a nice conversation with Cameron Diaz? If yoou get ill the hext months I'm very sorry, could be my fault. Back in Germany they told me I've got mononucleosis (that's what bablefish calls it), not so nice. I'm on sick leave for 2 more weeks now, getting bored at home. Whatever, I wish you the best for your trip, no more snoring mexicans and great experiences wherever you go to. Enjoy yourself,
Nina
The Jesus Shoes Hehehehe...the picture of Eva and her war wounds (a la Jesus shoes) was just too cute to not mention. I counted at least 5 bandaids... maybe you should see what the Spaniards wear around town and pick yourself up a pair :P
I agree with Mr. Yorkie..... the street beggers look a little like government employees! I like the Yoda one.
The most exciting part of the blog is to see where you gals are off to next! (Since I didnt get the full itererary low down before Eva left, every week is a new surprise!) Take care ladies.
Classy living! So good to hear of your exotic wanderings! Neat to hear you've enjoyed a few of the wonders of the sea side in Portugal and artful Madrid. Your photos are super to see, and to think beggars can put on such a show! Are they government employees? It is Labor day here and maybe that's how some of us should dress up more often.
Thanks for your newsy update. We're thankful you've put aside the high heels. So may your feet do you well all the days to come!
Great Journals Jill, you have a gift for writing.
Gotta luv those heels and backpacks! Christine take note.
Looking forward to more tales of the two blondies in Europe.
Yay France I'm glad to hear that you're having a good time! Pretty funny to hear you ended up in what sounds like the worst area of Paris... Versailles is gorgeous - Have fun in Portugal.
Hahaha...'HOW RUDE' I had a good laugh at the museum employee... they obviously weren't too interested in helping out two young, beautiful Canadian gals such as yourselves.
Beautiful Pictures! I must say you guys take some of the best travel photos I've seen. They are so clear and stunning scenary. I will admit you picture of Ewa in the Gardens "outside the chateau de versailles" was kind of a "where's waldo"-like one for me. Ewa your blond hair and fair skin blended with the building behind you... I can't wait to see more though, keep up the great photography!
awesome!! Hey Ewa and Jill!
Looks like you guys are having a blast, I'm so happy that everything is going up to plan.. except for that scary part with all the homeless people!!! But I guess to truly see France, you needed to see that too. Its nice reading about the places u have gone in France and knowing excacly what u are talking about since I have been there. As soon as you guys show pictures of Portugal, I know I shall be super jelous. We miss u Ewa... u to Jill! .. The family checks ur site everyday for news :) we think about u everyday..
Definitely life in the 'FAST' lane! Fun to hear how much you two are "off and running"! As to the people, well from the time I was 'over there' back in 1972, the Belgian French folks were down right offended as us foreign Canadians, no matter how polite we tried to be.
Keep safe and duck when things 'are falling or coming hard on your way'!
