Having these pictures makes a world of difference in being able to envision what you are experiencing. Everything looks gorgeous! I can't imagine sleeping in that shack of a treehouse. No wonder you froze. Remember the professionally built treehouses we made as kids? Or Barbie's Dreamhouse? Now I bet you wish you could cart that around in your pack - Harry Potter style.
The Rocks from the Mediterranean Sea remind me a lot of the ones from Los Cabos!
I hope you feel better Erin! It isn't nice to be sick when you're trying to explore. Eat lots of that hearty, cheap food!
Love you!
Danielle
Wow, for a minute there I thought you'd made your way back to Los Cabos when I saw that picture from the Mediterranean Sea! Not exactly the same, I guess...haha.
Sounds like you're seeing some amazing things! I love that you've been adding pictures. Keep them coming!!
Take care,
Kristen

Hello from Canada Hi Erin,
We are happy that your travels are going well. Sounds like you are seeing many new things. We are glad that there is such nice people along the way to help you. That is too bad that you had to pay for another visa. You would think that the Canadian embassy would have English speaking employees to help you. That is so frustrating. We are going to have a long session of looking at your pictures of all these sights and countries you have taken on your travels. We look forward to that. Take care and be safe. We Love you. Love Dad, Mom and Chevy. XXXOOO
got it!! Hey . . . wazup!?
Just found a bunch of links in my spam, you were right!!
Let me know more about the visas... if you had problems just imagin me...
By the way I agree with Vodka point, it does make train journeys easier, well at least in "platskartny".
See You Soon
XOXOXO

St. Petersburg sounds beautiful Hi Erin,
Great to hear from you. We await each time for a new blog. St. Petersburg sounds beautiful and full of history. I would like seeing the palace and cathedrals. It was nice that you got to have a bonfire and visit with students from all over the world. I am happy that you are cautious. Keep being smart like that Erin. I have started a book with all your blogs in it and have a copy for Grandma to read. Take care. We love you. Dad and Mom XXXXOOO
A new reader! Hey Erin, I just found out about this blog ... I traced back and read all of your entries. I am so glad you're having these experiences! I think about you frequently! Be safe and have fun
XO Krith
Hi Erin Sure is great that you are having such good luck Erin. Hope it continues. Russia sounds like a very interesting country. difficult to travel when you do not understand the language. you are doing great.
everything in Owen Sound is the same old same old. weather has been cool but sunny which is nice to see.hopefully it will warm up soon.
take care Mic
Someone is looking out for you! That is very lucky for you! We are glad that everything worked out in the end. Think of that throughout your trip whenever things don't seem to be going your way.
Great Russia experiences Hi Erin,
Glad to hear you arrived in Moscow and are enjoying the sights. We very much enjoy hearing about your experiences and it was nice to talk with you on the webcam. It so nice to know you have people to help you on your way. My computer has to get checked out because it is really slow and doesn't let me go online. I am using Danielle's now and will try to continue doing that so we are still in touch. Enjoy your visit to Moscow. Talk soon. Love you. Love Dad and Mom XXXXOOO
Moscow Hello Erin! I can't believe you are already in Moscow. And what a trip it has been for you so far. I am glad that you are having better experiences in Russia than the beginning of your journey! I cannot wait to see the pictures as I'm sure they will really allow us at home to see what you are describing. Hope you continue to meet friendly faces throughout your travels!
Love you and Miss you! xoxoxoxoxo

Parade eh? Hey Whippo!!!
Are you sure it was a parade? What if the town was being taken over by the military and you were snapping pics! LOL! Just a thought!
Glad your travels are going well! We miss you here! xo
Erin, good luck to you! Such a brave girl to travel all around the world all alone! Everyone she met in Tomsk asked me sth like: "Does she travel alone?? It cannot be true!" :) Good luck to you Erin, looking forward to hearing from you soon on your blog!
Beware of old men and drunks on beach Hi Erin, Glad to hear that you are feeling better. You are right to stay away from that old man. It is better to be cautious. It was nice that you met a Canadian to see things with. You will have many new friends by the time your travels are over. You sure have had excitement on your travels, first nearly falling in manhole, and then the tire blowing with a near wipeout. I am so glad you are safe Erin. Today I was raking and doing yardwork. Dad was discing the field across the road. The darn blackfly are starting to come out this afternoon. Friday is Laura's birthday and we are going there for a barbeque. We have enjoyed your travel comments. Take care. Love Dad and Mom XXXXOOOO
Well, it is reassuring to know that a nice person or 2 can be found in all corners of the world! Keep the updates coming! I'm always pleasantly surprised when a new email arrives! You're really on top of this blog thing!!
Take care!! xoxo
I'm a 24 year old Canadian planning a trip from Seoul, Korea (where I've been teaching/working for 8 months) to China to where I will take the Trans-Siberian, through Mongolia, to Russia. From Moscow, I will travel to the Middle East, to Africa, to India, then to Southeast Asia, I will then return to Seoul, for a flight to Canada in September 2008. I will be travelling alone, but will likely meet some friends along the way. I'm excited for this amazing journey!... full info
